oh my god they gave you a split cable that connects to the break lights!!! i was thinking you were going to splice and connect the cables together... this is awesome!
Haha, another Wisconsin Si owner. With that black chin have you thought about switching to black Honda badges? Maybe removing the "CIVIC" lettering and leaving the SI? I did; with black Road America plates I think it looks extra sharp.
I have a 24 si, plat. white pearl. I replaced both honda badges AND the civic lettering with black letters. I left the letters off for a days and then tried with the letters on. It looks damn sharp with clack "CIVIC" lettering and badges!
Hey bro, did yours have any specific markings showing it was a Yofer? I got mine in from eBay today and I am missing the plug and play light, 3m tape and the screws.
I got mine last week and installed it. The bix it came in had "yofer" lettering, pretty big, too. I got it from swa motorsports. The only gripe I have is the lack of instructions. I was able to get a very clean install by watching YT videos, but I think I missed a couple of things that would have made the install much easier. It took me and Wifey 3.5 hours total.
I had to apply 2 double side tape on one another to make it thicker and that worked. But one of my other side is slowly coming off. Gonna grab some stronger double side
I tried the tape that came with and also vhb. My diffuser keeps pulling near the curves by the rear reflectors. I've cleaned it with 91% rubbing alcohol. Idk what else to do!
Only used supplied tape for the big longer rear peice. The driver and passenger sides we had to double layer on the tape so itll make contact on the bumper.
When applying the piece on the car, have to heat up the tape and the piece then place on rear bumper and apply heat again to mold it to the rear bumper
4 months later has the panel come apart at all? is the 3m still sticking? Ik theres screws on the bottom of the diffuser but not the top, hows the fitment now 4 months later???
LOOKS BAD AZZ FOR SURE - Great video guys! I like the Honda tape u added, looks like you are anal like me about the fit lol - A good thing for sure, nothing like the satisfaction of doing it yourself.

Idk how you were able to fit it so perfectly. When I attempted mine there was definitely a gap
Heat gun is the way we did it. Lay the piece on the bumper then heat it in a forward and back motion to not burn the panel
You dont need to use a drill , yofers kits come with self tapping screws
Never seen someone blink as much as you. Diffuser looks good!
Shoot its cold out and drying my eyes up lol
@@YangLimitz I joke! Good work bro
@@sethwigley 💯
Thank you for this video, im gonna have to be doing this all by myself so this was helpful 😭
Just take your time doing it, will be worth it in the end 👍
@@YangLimitz took literally hours and i ended w gaps unfortunately even trying to mold it🥲
Y’all did a great job
I know what you mean. I'm still looking for videos on how to install an updated infotainment system on honda civic 11th Gen
Nice brotha. I’m still waiting for one for the hatchback models.
Itll arrive just gotta give em time to r&d pieces for the hatch
@@YangLimitz facts. It’s a waiting game now since I’ve been waiting for a year now. Haha.
Me too!
Feel like I’ve seen you near me before, south Milwaukee area. Clean asf.
Perfect fit. Awesome work man. Subscribed!
Appreciate it 👍

You look like the kid from gran torino that clint eastwood mentored.
Very clean man thinking about getting it soon
No regrets
Get video, hope to get one for my civic soon
Were you able to put the mud guards back on with this kit?
Mud guards didnt fit with the rear lip on. But you can modify/trim the flap to fit around.
Hey bro, did yours have any specific markings showing it was a Yofer? I got mine in from eBay today and I am missing the plug and play light, 3m tape and the screws.
Not that I remember but mine did come with all the stuff, tape, screws, etc

yo i’m new to wisconsin and i got a 2017 civic idk if we could meetup sometime
would do the reflectors above
Wish they made these for 9th generation accords
@@layyronfrasier9713 I only know of the oem hfp kit honda made for those
Yoooo. Does tape hold up perfectly?? Mine always comes off man. Any bracket i can possibly use? Drill it maybe? Or just keep using tape??

Gotta heat it up some more so it molds to the curve of the rear bumper while pressing the piece onto the bumper
I’m having the same exact issue! Just ordered a heat gun and 3m adhesion promoter!
So did yall use the tape that came with it? There will be times where i have it taped in the same spots yall did, and it comes loose.
Only used supplied tape for the big longer rear peice. The driver and passenger sides we had to double layer on the tape so itll make contact on the bumper.
Yeah mine did the same in some spots, that tapes not very good I’m gonna have to pull it off soon and redo it with 3m tape
How much is your car insurance just out of curiosity I know it’s different throughout states
About 350/mo. for a ‘23 Si. 23 yr old male, TX
150/ mp 23 civic si 37 male florida
I put mine on but the 3m tape seems to be peeling off or stretching what did u do?
When applying the piece on the car, have to heat up the tape and the piece then place on rear bumper and apply heat again to mold it to the rear bumper
What size drill bit did you use to drill the holes in the diffuser?
Tbh I just used the smallest one thatll fit the screw. Better to drill a small hole than a big one and mess up.
Where can I get that cable to connect the light?
Mine came with the rear lip, idk where you can buy just the wire it self. Maybe try calling yofer and see if they sell separate
How much to put mine in?
Man would this work on a touring trim?
Dont think so since different bumpers
Will this fit my 2023 civic sport?
No only for si model.
Would that fit on a 2023 honda hatchback?
I dont think it will fit since the sedan and hatchback have different rear bumper designs.
How much for you to install mine lol. I’ll repay you with some wingstop and beer also you don’t have to do any wiring for the lights?
You have to wire them they are in the video 😑
@@maxthor5895I said wire them meaning cutting the tape to connect the wires to work
It just wires into the brake light like done in the video, no cutting. Dont wanna do it again unless its a diff style rear design.
@@YangLimitz I should of waited cause I had one that needed to be cut. Now I’m definitely picking this one up soon!
Is that the stock exhaust? I have the same Yofer diffuser in my garage right now.
Yes stock exhaust, car looks much better with the rear diffuser on 😎
Will this fit the civic sport 2022?
This will not fit directly since the rear bumpers are differently shaped
@YangLimitz that's strange bc hrs site made it seem like it'll fit sport model. 😥
@@itsricksung TBH that I do not know, best to call the company and see what they say. I just know the bumpers are different from si to sport
it will, i have one
@DeadpoolBIH oh OK thank u so much!!!

Its still on like the day we slapped it on 👍
@@YangLimitz that’s totally badass, thanks for the quick reply man, truly! And sick car hope my diffuser turns out the same haha!
what screws did you use
They were supplied in the kit

he wearing his fleece liner 😭
Do you worry about the exhaust melting the diffuser?
Exhaust is no where near the diffuser tbh
@@YangLimitz sweet lol my diffuser comes on Tuesday 😁 can’t wait to install
@@ImmutableIcarus Will be worth it
Ooo nice
I would think you would have to be careful using a heat gun and not messing up the paint.
