Adept for the adept magazine mod in combination with extended mag is a must. Then chill clip, and the second perk of your choice. Wether that be overflow, aegis, rimestealer, is up to you
I think Triton Vice (the glaive exotic hunters have that no-one uses) should have a different perk. It should give you the synthoceps style surrounded damage buff (which means it lingers for 5 seconds, instead of disappearing immediately) and then I think it should grant an additional grapple grenade charge, and it should replace the grapple melee while a glaive is equipped to a savage one-armed stab, maybe have it apply a debuff based on the energy type of the glaive, or perhaps a buff based on the energy type. Also maybe giving grapple energy on glaive stabs. Would you use Triton vice then? Or should I ask, what would it take to get you to use Triton Vice? Another note: Have you considered using the "Nezarec's Whisper" glaive? The origin trait "extrovert" activates in the backpack I'm pretty sure.
I’ve used Tritons, and Nezarec’s before. (Nezarec’s origin perk activates on kills, not while stowed) Triton’s problem is that it has never done anything better than something that already exists. (It’s perk does linger last time I checked in season 24, though). The extra shots on melee kills is not a significant game changer. For more than a year after implementation it actually broke some glaive interactions. The reload is better off circumvented via glaive perk than mildly improved when surrounded. When overflow exists, or origin perks like Greasy Luck’s, why bother? It had one singular use case with ecliptic Distaff and destabilizing rounds. One shot would destabilize nearby targets, then tritons would detonate. It would clear a group of enemies in one shot, and you would get invisibility. Now that prismatic’s Trapper’s ambush exists, this is now replicable with things like Rake Angle and no exotic use. I’m doubtful the changes you suggested would get me to use them. Glaives are not an add-clear S-tier weapon. They get the job done, but survivability is the main benefit. I’m not really sure about how to get them usable when Relativism has the level of variety that it does.

Even if it did activate in the backpack. Would a glaive exotic be better if it had intrinsic reconstruction for glaives like Actium War Rig is for auto rifles? What about a spoof off of Stronghold? Blocking with the glaive grants healing on the next stab? Happy New Year!

No. I’ve been a hunter main for 10 years. Only have a Titan/Warlock for extra raid drops. I am curious what they would look like though! Titans have their suspending trance dance grenade, but they’ll lose out on consecration. Warlocks uh, might be stuck with base Strand for the shackle grenade? Ouch.
@Hiems_Morsus yeah you know your Hunter well. Getting anything close to the power of the hunter glaive builds on Titan/Warlock has been a challenge I haven't been able to solve yet

Well I'm honestly just fuckin jealous as I do not have the patience, or the skill, or any buddies that play a lot so I just totally downplay what I see cause I frankly don't like it, but that's just my nature, pls ignore it. Got no problem asking for help. However, even if i wanted to get really good at the game like you apparently, the game has fallen off a cliff and there's seemingly nobody to help me get better anyways. I also have over 700 hours on this game however I am such a slow learner, I will play the same way no matter how bad for so long cause I guess I have a skull made of concrete and information barely gets through. I'm only on Steam as well, and that playerbase does not seem to exist anymore. And tbf, the game is still somewhat fun and enjoyable, but at the same time pretty off-putting due to the current negative image the game has. Wall of text over. Maybe. Lol
