this is honestly a good question for really any lore relevant characters in this franchise. Quite awhile ago I started realizing that we tend to take most quotes at face value, and not even think about the idea that a character could be a false or unreliable narrator, or just not understanding what's going on at all; to a point where we have become so incredibly trusting of characters that I would not be surprised that somebody has been lying/misdirecting us for years and we are to naive to realize.
@@ilikepigeons6101 Of course, this is not my view of Golden Freddy anymore. These days I see Golden Freddy as the ultimate enigma character that can and can't be anything all at the same time. It's hard to come to any solid conclusion when it comes to him.

You also need to think Henry lured every possessed animatronic into Pizzaria Sim, EXCEPT GOLDEN FREDDY. Like dude just doesn’t show up in the game at all. Meanwhile Henry made a machine to torture and bring his daughter into the location. So if he knew about Golden Freddy he would’ve tried making something to lure him in.
I don’t know. Honestly. I’ve considered the idea that Henry doesn’t have all the answers he thinks he does for a while now. @siresquawks I honestly think that Henry might not exactly know, since with the final screen, that's one of the things that makes me hesitant with MoltenMCI, since we do only see Charlie and 4 spirits. We actually never know what ever happens to the Fredbear suit, since we never see it in the FNaF 1 building in Follow Me at all. At best, you have Scraptrap MCI and Stormister's additions, which makes me favor MoltenMCI Alter-S at the best MoltenMCI version, even if I don’t really agree with MoltenMCI in general.
We know a couple of things tbf. We know: 1. It's fredbear (a glaringly obvious point) 2. It can teleport 3. It may or may not be able to create hallucinations (the "it's me" ones in fnaf 1) 4. It can basically decapitate itself 5. It's got telekinesis (to an extent) 6. It's fooled by the mask 7. It can't do anything without direct eye contact (for some reason (confirmed via fnaf 1, 2 and UCN)) 8. It houses more than one spirit I'll add more if i can think of anything
@@InsertdecentYThandlehere the direct eye contact is interesting. i na way acknowleding the supernatural gives power in some myth righT? and about 8, we actually just don't know.

So combining continuities that's 5 spirits and 2 in standard games (3 if you believe stitchline games). Sorry for the long paragraph lol
I assume Golden Freddy is more spectral and hallucinatory, maybe the suit is hidden somewhere seemingly dormant but it projects itself elsewhere to attack any employees. My personal thoughts, there's probably stuff that contradicts this way of thinking but I'm not super deep into the lore 100% of the time.
I don’t think anything contradicts that line of thinking, Withered Golden Freddy does about the same. He projects his head down the hall and kinda just fazes out of view in UCN.
That’s my problem with MoltenMCI, WHERE IS GOLDEN FREDDY?! Only viable options is A: Fnaf 1 Pizzeria, not even being noticed by William because William thought Fredbear wasn’t possessed until it was too late. B. FNAF 2 Pizzeria, maybeee used by Afton for murder. Again, he’s just somewhere in storage. C. Most likely answer: Fredbears. The bloodied springlock suit was left behind for GFKid to project their spirit from. D. Completely scrapped due to Charlie’s death and the bite. I think the reason the suit changes every game is because the hallucination/projection of Golden Freddy/Fredbear is based on the current Freddy’s appearance.
Yeah I’ve always wondered why and how Cassidy is just able to leave Golden Freddy in follow me, and where the Golden Freddy costume went after Cassidy left it (and if the crumpled Freddy suit in FNAF 3 is Golden Freddy how can they return to it). I guess to a lesser extent a similar question exists for the Puppet, as I have no clue how they escaped being scrapped after FNAF 2, what they were doing before and after FNAF 3 to not draw attention to themselves, and what they were doing during FNAF 3 at Fazbears Fright. Seriously why do they only appear on one camera, if they came here to stop Springtrap shouldn’t Charlotte be going after him? Also why does seeing the Puppet make the Phantom Puppet appear? If the Phantoms are ghosts of the animatronics presumably corrupted by Afton or ghosts who work for Afton not knowing he killed them (like in TFC or the movie) so shouldn’t there not be a Phantom Puppet? I’m rambling now but oh man there are a lot of unanswered questions about FNAF 3…
I mean the Puppet not being scrapped in FNAF 2 could be explained by it not really being part of the Toy Animatronics, as far as we can tell it seems to have existed for a fair bit before the toys were made.
Also, its job is to give gifts at the prize corner, while the others' jobs were to entertain. The others were scrapped while the puppet wasn't because 1) they could be used for making the new animatronics (presumably the ones in fnaf 1) since they are versions of each other while the puppet doesn't have a counterpart And 2) what would replace it? Freddy would replace toy Freddy, foxy would replace mangle etc etc. But no one for puppet.@@deathclawproductions6723
I thought the ending of UCN was supposed to make clear that golden Freddy never got a chance to move on to an afterlife. He’s still stuck in the living world. Terrorizing Hurricane, Utah.
I just had a crazy realization that kinda broke me. It’s not really related to this post, but the Mimic has TWO Endoskeletons in Ruin. The Endoskeleton under the suit is very different than his normal one- and it doesn’t even seem like it’s a simple low-poly version, it’s just different. I’m quite perplexed by the fact his Endo changes from ending to ending, and I wonder if it lends any credence to the BurnMimic theory.
I wonder if golden freddy in fnaf 1 was in Mike's head. This might explain why in fnaf 2 the spinglock suit is degraded, and years later is repaired. As you mentioned in the saferoom video fazbear hauling this decommissioned suit around makes no sense, and maybe mike is simply remembering fredbear moreso than what it became.
This makes me question: what if the theory of "golden Freddy isn't actually real" is true to a certain extent? Like, obviously we KNOW it exists because it's fredbear. But how can it teleport? Or decapitate itself? What if golden Freddy as we know him, is just added to the indie games as an Extra mechanic and Easter egg based on the rumours and the fact fredbear is just lifeless somewhere. It isn't a flawless theory because why isn't he in 6 or HW 1 or 2 if that WAS the case? (I'm not sure if he's in HW2 so let me know if he is or not). But to explain that: maybe he just wasn't in the circuit boards and all that, that was given to make HW? Just a random thought I had.
So, as someone who never theorized about Fnaf myself, is Golden Freddy what remains as the overall unsolved mystery of the franchise that keeps people coming back to theorize about it? Because by Fnaf 6 and UCN the primary mysteries that a casual Fnaf 1 player would be wondering about would all have some kind of an answer, except the nature of Golden Freddy.
I also believe that Henry doesn't know about Cassidy/Golden Freddy, being an unreliable narrator. In fact, on his part, as an in-game character, Golden Freddy does not exist. He had nothing to do with it and did not see it at all. Similarly, from the side of the spirit of the Golden Freddy. Do they even know that Henry, who did practically nothing during the entire plot, exists? So to say a paired "who are you anyway?". Although, according to Arcade Theory, if there was an opportunity for interaction between them, they could be kind of partners, like with Michael
Personally i don’t think so. I do believe rhat He is Aware that His Old Suit was Used by William to kill a kid in 1985. But when it comes to Seeing or Knowing about Golden Freddy? I don’t think so. The only ones that would know about GF is The MCI(Whom henry has no interaction with),Charlie(which he only ‘talked’ to in Pizza Sim),Michael(same as Charlie) and William(who would keep it hidden)
Here's another question, it's something I noticed recently while looking at the old candy cadet stories from Fnaf 6, does Henry know about the killings, WHEN they happen? Like we assume this whole time Henry is ignorant of the killings... But he can't be, if we're also assuming these stories include Henry. Because every single story has SOMEONE who knows about the danger but does nothing, or is otherwise unable to do something. It's my personal opinion that it isn't Henry but Micheal that knows, but many also think it could be Henry that knows. Why I think it's Micheal is simple, the movie supports this idea, as does sister location by itself. In the movie, _SPOILERS AHEAD_ Vanessa is actually Vanessa Afton and is the ONLY Afton, and she's been helping cover up his killings as essentially a dirty cop, or maybe even just impersonating a cop. Micheal is also helping William in the games for a short period of time as we know. Due to his abuse he faced, in theory, in the nightmare chambers. BUT HEY I'm not game theory so I'm not gonna say that. 😂
william probably did it off screen, for one how would the souls spirit be freed if the suit itself was no longer a stable object to possess? Also william could of just taken golden freddy apart and taken him back or something considering the only place golden freddy could be during follow me is the safe room, and he obviously isn't there. So no he probably wouldn't know about golden freddy In that sense But william probably did just destroy him, and put him In his car or something to use him for the funtimes or something later.
