    Would you recommend the new Kazu Kokubo Pro to an iintermediate boarder? Its profile looks less agressive in this update.

      @PeterGlennSports  Месяц назад +1

      It wouldn’t be horrible for an intermediate rider but it is definitely specifically designed for more experienced riders who like to ride the backcountry like it’s a park.

    hi matt, big capita fan and have a 160w mega merc. I'm 90kg us 12 boot advanced rider. I will be working as a snowboard instructor in Japan this coming season and looking to take a versatile board. I love my mega but on tracked out off piste it can be too lively and wants to spring off every bump. I've been wanting a new wide kazu or BSOD but worried it will be too much board for instructing on the baby slopes as only taking one board. any suggestions would be appreciated. I like a stiffer board to match my union atlas and vans verse boots and have previously owned a mercury but was the 161 which was a bit narrow. I even find the 160w mega a bit narrow in softer snow.

      @@karljeffrey8960 If you just need a chill riding board I’d say grab more of an All mountain ride like the DOA. Something that is further away from the freeride board you already own. @@PeterGlennSports enjoyed the video and defiently makes sense, however I have owned a Doa in the past. found to be soft and felt a lot of vibrations in my knees, will have to consider what's more important to me, maybe a jones frontier or mind expander twin. thank you for the content and advise

    I heard that the change to the 23/24 DOA core made the board a bit softer and a bit average feeling. Does the 24/25 new carbon/fibreglass technique do anything noticeable to the ride experience or is it solely manufacturing consistency?

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  2 месяца назад +1

      No change to the core for the DOA still their P2 Superlight core and flex is still rated at 5.5. As for the glass/carbon it's true that having it woven in does make the construction of the boards super consistent because there is no chance for the carbon to mis-laid in the board. More importantly it is using less epoxy and dimension inside the board so it is a thinner, stronger and more importantly lighter ride under your feet. Another good thing to note is in the 24/25 Mega Merc, D.O.A. and Birds Of A Feather the carbon is running a true, full length tip to tail so more spring, pop and stability.

    Hi!) Capita paradise and OSL is stiffer this year?

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  3 часа назад

      No it's not stiffer, they just made some tweaks to the board shape to make it more nimble.

    Im thinking of getting the BSOD 2024/25
    Im 173cm 80kg
    i think the 156 is the best size for me but cant find any boards available, only 159 and up. Will the 159 be to big?
    Also thinking of pairing them with Union Atlas pro, but recommendations are welcome

      @@PeterGlennSports for bindings, union atlas pros or union force 2024? Will be paired with Vans infuse boots which are pretty stiff. And the bsod is also pretty stiff, so im thinking of going for a more medium stiff binding like the forces, but i see people recommend the atlas for the bsod. Any input?
      Many thanks!

      @@cezar1337 You really can't make the wrong decision there. If you want a slightly easier feel go with the Force. I've even seen people run Ultras on that board which is not a traditional pairing but it works to smooth out the ride alot. It's 100% what sounds/feels the best to you 👍
