Wow never seen Deban smile so much and get so excited that was William level excitment. I feel hard for KEiiNO and probably binged on them too much so other than Fred's bit I was underwhelmed but it is growing on me. Norway has been so good this year though.
I think Spirit in the Sky is more of a pop dance number, which appealed to the televoters, but this has a grandeur about it that will certainly appeal to the jury.

The rehearsal the juries base their points off didn't go well for Keiino back then, Tom Hugo made a mistake and the production also messed up with the cameras. Plus, Fred wasn't as integrated in Spirit in the Sky and to some it felt like they tacked on a Sapmi singer just for ethnic points. But Monument *is all about* Fred, and it's a bit more refined, better lyrics, more grown up.
The song is nice but I think they already had their moment with "Spirit in the Sky" 2 years ago. This will always have a deja vu feeling, kind of like Alex Rybak. I think there are better songs in MGP that can give Norway a better result in Eurovision
Oh come on, they have NOTHING that can give them a better result than this, be real And there's nothing wrong in going to Eurovision more than once. So many winners won on their second attempt.
