Writing a song to mark the 50th anniversary of Sydney Opera House is no easy task, but Tim landed on an idea that inspires us all to defy that nervous little voice inside us that tells us to play it safe and keep it simple.

Yeah they get it, I get it. It's so dull and tricky. It fails to acknowledge the history of the architecture and any of the embedded performance forms and history except for some minute cues and jokes. A monument to pretentious silly vacuous nowness and ideas. Totally forgettable, musically, lyrically and visually. If Chat GPT wrote something and an ABC freelance crew shot it. #awful
yeah i get it. they approached the wrong artist. and it rankles. a LOT judging by the amount of poison you spew. but funny - looking at your website i can clearly see why they did.

It's so pretentious and misses the point of a tribute video. It ignores the long legacy of the SSO and OA performing in a purpose built venue. It has limited representation by them. But somehow it's an Australian Icon that Tim and Courtney have some important voice on. ? The only significant mention of Utzon is to support the 'play on words' ergh Gimme a break. The silly reductive idea that conservatism was the enemy and thats the only way of understanding "the house" is stupid.
So in conclusion: You wish they had played it safe. Fantastic!
