Hat's off to that piano teacher who probably saw enough natural musicality to insist on giving Tim that final lesson... perhaps unwittingly but she has brought happiness to millions of people... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yes. Just one thing before you go. The tonal decryption key.
Good teachers are worth their weight in diamond.
i know Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?
I somehow forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Braxton Jakob instablaster =)
@@dmwalker24 Why would such a fundemental thing be the last thing you teach to a student?
@@cyanhallows7809 It wouldn't have been the last thing he was taught if he hadn't decided to quit taking lessons. In the beginning comprehensive music theory can't really be fully explored until the physical technique is up to a reasonable level.
Tim is an amazing person 💕
I hope Tim Minchin goes on to make a thousand more records, or comedy specials, or musicals, or whatever he wants. Bloody brilliantness is all he is.
Genius, talented, humorous, humble
It looks like someone told Tim to not put his hair behind his ears, but he's used to doing so, so he subconsciously keeps doing it yet remembering that he's not supposed to :D it cracks me up, much love for him and his music ;)
He always comes across as down to earth.
He's just such an interesting and fantastic individual
Tim Minchin is an incredible pianist. I understood very little of the piano jargon in this video but hearing him talk about how he plays is just awesome! Huge fan here
Brilliant Tim. Fav Aussie. Hands 🙌🏿 down. ❤ from USA 🇺🇸
"Beethoven the crap out of it", you gotta love his way with words 😁
Your eclectic combination of piano, comedy, songwriting and singing is just so fantastic! May your children inherit your creativity!
Am I the only one who wants to hear his new single released, Nicholas' Reflection Erection....??
Nope me too lol 😂
I love this guy and his talent so much. Wish he could do some kind of lessons.
Same, I would love to either have Mr. Minchin as a piano teacher, or as a teacher in some kind of Masterclass/Skillhare etc. Course
Fortunate to see Tim in concert, 2017, Vic, Aus. Brilliant💖
I feel like I'm similar to him only actually being taught for a few years but having a good ear for how stuff should sound and preferring to just come up with my own stuff - only nowhere near as talented as him. I can read music, but I'm not disciplined enough to sit and learn many songs. He has inspired me to learn more about chords and practice different patterns.
Man, he’s such a cool dude. He gives hope to all of we untaught degenerates. Lol. If you take my meaning.
Ummm... you are fabulous.
is that a banksy painting in the back groud
“Beethoving the crap out if it” !! Ha! Love it.
That outro lolol

I'm surprised you studied for so long and were never taught how to make the diatonic chords from a scale. It' s a very basic bit of music knowledge
they always teach piano and music in the worst possible way. I'll never understand why.
