Yo you make me want one of those cars but i cant get over the fact that they dont have manuals, the slap shift is ehhhh..... i love the lines and overall look of the car but, no manual..... and you gotta Dohc 5L which is pricey on maintaince..... i HAD a 2016 5.0, but now i got a 6.2L pushrod..... im good, but i like your car 💯 especially lowered like that

Why is a dohc more maintenance heavy? The oil? You should use good oil no matter what.
@@dvaritek434 Having 2 Camshafts requires more components and if anything messes up, i’m guessing the costs are just higher due to more components. That’s my guess, but it’s built by Toyota, so Reliability shouldn’t be a concern hopefully 🤞🏾
@@Mr_Odog there is vid of a rcf with 270k miles stomping a 5.0 stang and the only issue is some oil blowby. The owner says he just needs a catch can. Besides the valley pan leak issue, we are bulletproof as long as it aint boosted. Boosting 12.3:1 conpression ratio engines is not easy and if one of the injectors starts effing up, detonation is really easy.
@@dvaritek434 I’ve most likely seen that video, and boy can I say that’s one of the reason why I love Lexus. 500 reliable Horsepower at nearly 300k miles. That’s insane. And yea, idk about supercharging. If I ever do, i’ll for sure have a back up motor on hand just incase

Whats your camera setup to get that POV view? I have a GoPro 10 and I use superview with the camera basically sitting on my nose. Still can't get that full of a view.
I currently use the GoPro 360 Cam, but before this, I used to film with my Iphone 13 and it did just as good as a job. Look through my videos and look for the “How to” video on filming POV clips with your cellphone. I hope this helps 🤟🏾

Lmao, first, you’re dead wrong. 500HP (All motor also) isn’t slow, lol. Don’t let Tiktok/social media get to your head. Second, why would anyone buy an RCF to be the fastest? You don’t buy this car for it’s speed. For the Price I bought this, I could’ve bought an M4, built 600-700WHP and called it a day, but I didn’t, lol. I chose the RCF for a mouthful of reasons. I’m also glad you didn’t end up buying one lol. Stick to the basic “fast” stuff like M cars and Chargers, lol. Leave the RCF for those that actually appreciate it 😁. A more appropriate response could’ve been that you can’t make as much power with this car than it’s competitors, but hey, haters gonna hate 🤷🏾♂️
@Mr_Odog mate, I do like "all the other things" about the lexus, except that they still use slushbox transmissions on their "performance" luxury cars.
500 hp doesn't mean much when their 0-60 times are in Golf GTI territory ffs. So yeah, 500hp can still be "slow" when it's torque arrives in 3-5 business days and so do it's gear changes lol.

Also, just know that you’re going back and forth with someone that actually owns one, lol. I have a tune on this car that also makes the trans shifts abit quicker and more smoother, so once again, what are you talking about? 😂. Lastly, the best recorded 0-60 for an RCF is 4.1secs (non supercharged and TVD option which makes it heavier), so once again, what are you talking about?!

See you agree, using a shoe slushbox in a "performance" luxury car is insane. And yeah dude, $70k for a 4.3 second performance car in 2024 is lame as hell. And they're not even that nice inside!
I'm happy that you're happy. They're cool cars. But my point still stands, it's too bad they're so slow, and that they're not that luxurious, and that they use an old slow transmission.
@@OldManShoutsAtClouds Hey, I ain’t get the 2024 version, I know better 😅, but it’s a track car at the end of the day and it handles great. I’m glad that we were both able to share our opinions. It’s fast enough to me, I don’t want more power, and I am able to keep up with a lot of other competitors such at Mustang GTs, Scatpacks, M cars, etc. Stock for stock, most of these cars pull similar numbers, but when you’re comparing modded for modded, then the boosted cars are obviously faster.
