Really though, it was a great game and you completely caught me out with the r1 Clocks play. I wonder if it was worth running Hulk in front of Namor and eating the stagger to go for my own scenario lead. My fear was that Hulk might get eaten between Namor and Siege. Well-played and well-deserved win, and hope to catch you at LVO one way or another!
Every gaming community, if it is going to stay healthy in the competitive scene, needs people who are willing to think outside the box and demonstrate over and over again that the things people thing are not good enough for competitive, in fact, are good enough if you know what you are doing. You are doing a great job of filling this role in MCP. Keep up the good work!
The monster Box was a huge get for Midnight Sons. I love all 4 models in that box. Its a small sample size but in the 3 games Ive used/faced Werewolf he has been a huge pain. Howl ripping off power, and big damage swings. But I can see that he is kinda 1 note. Good luck and LVO
Lmao, we absolutely caught you! Curious to hear your thoughts on non-gem Namor at this point. I remember the episode where you and the crew covered his release and you all seemed down on the gem. Specifically, is Clocks just good for Midnight Suns in the style you are playing, or is he just generically good and should be tested elsewhere?
With his spender, Ursa Major can auto-stagger Dracula from range 2 and then auto-throw him S outside of range 3 to prevent the counter-attack. Splash Ursa Major in every list confirmed
Yeah sons players in general don't like Moon Knight for some reason but I really love him in sons. His r4 is a good solution to a lot of popular meta pieces like shang or thor and occasionally he gets a stagger or an extra move.
I have been wanting to play thralls since I got the models. Being fair I don't own blade so havnt even thought of midnight sons. My idea was to build a roster based around counter attacks and leaps. So there is no good attacks anywhere. Sacrifice being key to keep that online with models who don't have it etc.
So I think that I would swap kraven for Zemo for sure. I think that bill is slightly better than crew at the safe grab job but they have been killing it for me lately. And there is maybe an argument to slam the really oppressive pieces into the list like thor2 or thanos.
@VincentCurkov and keep the crises the same? Do you find you lean more attrition with MS, or against the big attrition teams Do you find yourself pivoting more to objectives?
@@VincentCurkovThe Crew definitely wins the Cool factor against Bill. He's just a weird alien horse with a cape. They look like they came in for a tag-team match.
I think I would keep crisis the same. The team is very midrange and kind of does what it needs to to win. If the opponent is hellfire it leans fighting if the opponent is guardians it leans scenario.
Interesting to hear your thoughts on Werewolf as I've echoed the same sentiments and been told I'm flat out wrong. He feels a bit like a 5 threat Apex and I can see him having similar issues that unless he's juiced he may not do a whole lot.
@@VincentCurkov Don't you want to be pouncing and howling as much as possible? I feel like the werewolf might be ok in a place like HFC, not sure how MS helps him. Also if his dmg output when juiced is about the same as Apex, that's kind of telling when comparing a 5 v's 4 threat!

Just wanted to pop in and let you know that you are doing a great job for the MCP community
Thank you! I'll try to keep it going!
This was really good. I’m a filthy casual who only wins 2/3-10 matches. Hearing your thought process and strategy was eye opening. Kudos!
Great video as always, Vince. Good luck at LVO
I appreciated this video and the breakdown of choices. I am just returning to MCP so trying to absorb as much as possible.
Welcome back. Glad I could help.
Good work sir!
Thank you!

Yeah I think I overstated how much I dislike the wolf. He is still very much in the list.
Congrats!
Well done!
Nice job dude, fun listen
Glad you enjoyed it!
I like it. I agree the team tournament restrictions have some things that could be optimized. But this is similar to my current build.
Yeah I think it is close enough to be a good starting point for anyone looking to explore the faction.

Yup both Ursa and king pin are models that can profitably stagger drac.
In my local meta have used 5 pt Ultron and Master of the world Redskull to make Dracula little issue. Ultron is built to deal with him well.
Ultron 2 is a huge problem for sons in general.
Any thoughts on Iron Fist and Heroes for Hire? Or does he just die to r4 fire too easy?

What are your thoughts about ghost rider?
I’m not a huge fan. Being victimized by the most common attack type in the game is rough for a 5 threat.
Which character is "Clocks"?
Time namor. “Clocks McKenzie”

As someone trying to get into MS what would you change crisis wise and character wise when not limited by format

So he is a little easier to get power on than apex and has slightly less demand for it but also doesn't have much more out put when fully juiced.

I’m guessing the reason you’re not playing black cat is because you have a webs player? Would you play her over panther?
So unlike webs she really struggles to be effective in this faction. If I need a steal I play voodoo.
Good luck at LVO buddy
Wish you were coming along!
@VincentCurkov maybe One Day I might get good. I have a Long way to ago
@papalima2 not that far. Just treat it like painting. Practice in a way that makes you better and push yourself. I believe in you buddy!

:)
It's interesting because every game I've played with werewolf he has been a monster for lack of a better term also voodoo has been my weak point
