I know dumb decisions was made to highlight dumb decisions by coaches. However, you gotta do a dumb decisions video about the Jacobi Meyers lateral. All he had to do was fall or get tackled, and the game would gone to overtime. Instead he throws a lateral 30 yards behind him to seemingly no one, and it's caught by the Raiders for a game winning touchdown.

1972 was the nadir for Philadelphia sports teams. The Phillies won less than 60 games; Steve Carlton won 27 of those 59 games; The 76'ers had the worst season in NBA history winning only 9 games and the Eagles won 2 games. In total three professional teams in one city combined to win 70 games! Even the Flyers were bad in the 71-72 season only winning 26 games. So, total it up and the City of Philadelphia got to celebrate a victory only 96 times in 4 professional sports seasons. It's no wonder that fan dumped trash on the field. They used to pile trash bags into a cart at The Vet to take it to the dumpsters so that's probably where he got multiple bags, or it could have been the custodian himself dumping the trash on the field.

Honestly it seems like every time the Philadelphia Eagles get a new stadium we Eagles fans seem to get more well behaved, I mean Eagles fans at Lincoln Financial Field are altar boys and girls compared to fans who went to Veterans Stadium and are saintly compared to fans who went to Franklin Field, and you have to remember, Veterans Stadium had a dedicated jail in it (and it was regularly used throughout the year as both the Eagles and Phillies shared the stadium)
Edit: I forgot Temple played at Veterans Stadium, and the thing about Veterans Stadium having a jail is a myth, the City of Philadelphia assigned a judge for Eagles game days... It's actually Lincoln Financial Field that has the jail cell built-in

No, no, no, no. You are 100% wrong. The Eagles did not pick a fan to dress up like Santa on that fateful day in 1968. What happened was they were prepared to have some kind of Christmas show at halftime complete with Santa and his sleigh but there was a blizzard the night before and the guy who was supposed to be Santa was a no show because he thought they were going to cancel the halftime show so the team had to act fast and saw this guy in a ratty Santa suit and decided he'd be an adequate substitute. When the parade started and the fans saw this guy in a cheap, ratty Santa suit walking around the field, they thought it was but another example of the cheapness of the ownership and vented their frustration. Keep in mind that this was a week after the Eagles stupidly won over the Saints to lose themselves the shot at getting OJ Simpson in the following draft. In retrospect you have to agree with the fans here although the target of their frustration was not at fault. Also, this was 54 years ago. I think it's time to let it go.

Another thing, say what you want about Eagle fans but they are nothing if not loyal. What people forget that in the 1968 snowballs at Santa game, it was the last game of the season with the team standing at 2-11 on a cold and dreary day after a blizzard and the game was a sell out. Same with this game. How many teams have 50+ thousand fans out to see a 2 win team? And yes Eagle fans are dicks(I can't stand them) but you never hear of anyone getting stabbed or shot like in other cities.
