We all know that the Model Y has been Tesla’s most successful car for the mass market up until now, and as of the latest update, in the second quarter of 2024, Tesla has absolutely crushed it by delivering around 444,000 vehicles, with 95% of those being Model Y and Model 3. Now, Tesla is gearing up to blow our minds with the upgraded Model Y Juniper, promising some seriously exciting improvements. So, without further ado, let's dive into all the juicy details we have so far about this sensational new model and what makes it so darn special!

Exterior and Interior Redesign.
According to Inside EV, one of the main changes expected in the Model Y Juniper is an exterior redesign. The media outlet anticipates that Tesla will give the revised Model Y a similar exterior makeover to the refreshed Model 3, featuring a completely new face with slimmer, more modern-looking headlights that replace the upturned nose. The rear lights and bumper are also expected to be updated to match the Model 3 Highland, giving the Juniper a more aggressive bumper akin to the new Model 3 Performance.

Next up is some change that comes to the wheel. Tesla has a history of revising wheel designs with each model refresh, and the Model Y Juniper is surely to follow this trend. While the wheel sizes will remain the same, improvements in the wheels' appearance and aero performance are anticipated. For instance, the refreshed Model 3 saw a reduction in its drag coefficient from 0.23 to 0.219, and it is probable that the Juniper will benefit from similar advancements. Right now, all Model Y trims have a drag coefficient of 0.23, but the car can feel bulky, with even the performance trims taking 3.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour (with rollout subtracted). In contrast, the 2024 Model 3 Performance can achieve the same feat in only 2.9 seconds. So it will be exciting to see Tesla's efforts to improve the ride quality of the Model Y.

Now all they have to do is decrease charging times significantly and provide you with a range of atleast 500 miles. How about a large full size luxury automobile which tesla dosent even make? See, now we're talkin!! Then you could actually use it for long distance travel. I have a model S and im sorry but there's absolutely no way in hell i would take it out on any of my long distance travels. I use it for what it was designed for, short range local destinations only. Now when it comes to long range travels, that's the job of my jaguar XJL. 3 minutes to fuel for a range of 570 miles which supersedes any EV in America, full size, paid off at 41K, and more than a pleasure to drive. Now as a Tesla owner im sorry but, im smart enough to know that tesla truly needs the real improvements and will never measure up to the things that continues to be reserved for gas cars only. And i know because my model S as much as i like it lacks so much.....
Hopefully they release this lighter more vibrant blue colour shown in these renders it’s much better than the current boring dark blazer blue.

What it is important is range, minimum 400 miles in real world to convince people to leave combustion cars.
I have a model S that offers me a short and shitty range. But if you think im gonna give up my luxurious Jaguar XJL you think again. I get 3 minutes of down times to fuel, 570 miles of range (not available in any EV in America), paid off at 41K, a large full size luxury automobile which tesla dosent even make, and more than a pleasure to drive. My model S is used for what it was designed for, short range local destinations only. Anything long distance belongs to my jaguar XJl.....

@@KenKellySWFLWell now see too that's a truck. Trucks are our work horses. Me? Im a long distance (serious) traveler because i have family all over. I travel from Lancaster Pennsylvania to Jacksonville Florida, Dallas Texas, Chicago Illinois, Johnson city Tennessee just to mention my long range travels. This doesn't include the many mid range travels and countless short range travels i do. So when i select a car, i dont select it baised on trends, and things like that. It has to provide me with the provisions needed to be over the road. A large full size luxury automobile which tesla dosent even make. Roomy and comfortable. Short downtimes, a range of no less than 500 miles to have the ability to keep moving, which no Tesla can provide or any EV in America can provide. With over 7 thousand miles a year, i cant except some little tiny toy you have to sit 20 to 40 minutes to charge everytime that short and shitty range ends. That's not traveling that frustration. My jaguar XJL serves me so well that i just might buy another one in a year and a half when it's time to renew. With you? Your truck gives you a range of 300 miles just like many EVs but, it only takes you 3 to 5 minutes to fuel then up and out. You dont have to plug in and stay awhile. See the difference? Even though you have a short range you still have the ability to keep moving.....
Because it'll come with bigger cup holders and push button turn signals along with LED's
