    Hi Pablo, thank you for an excellent video of your side bending jig. Could you tell me what size are the springs you used on the sides and where did you get them please.
    Many thanks
    Brian

      Hi Brian, I tried to find the supplier I used to buy my springs but unfortunately it was quite a while ago and I can't find it, but if you look on line, on eBay for example, you should be able to find some. The ones I use are 150mm long and the wire is 2 mm thick.
      I hope this helps.

    Hi Pablo, any reason that you put the heat blanket under the wood but not above the wood?

    • @redkitekk
      @redkitekk  Год назад +1

      No particular reason. You can use it on top as well and it should be fine.

    Hi Pablo very nice video. I use a normal bending iron but my sides have some problems and now I will build a bending machine. Do you know were can I buy the silicone heater, here in Europe? Thanks

    ¡Hola Pablo! Me gusta mucho la claridad con la que explicas los procesos. Quisiera construir un “jig” como ese para doblar los lados. ¿Dónde podré conseguir los planos o algún esquema?

      Hola Raul,
      Pues no tengo planos ni nada parecido, pero si quieres ver algunas fotos que pueden darte una idea de como hacerte uno he puesto unas cuantas fotos en mi pagina de Facebook, espero que te sean útiles

    How thick is the plywood you use for this jig? 3/4”?
    It’s 5” wide? Same width as the blanket?

    • @redkitekk
      @redkitekk  3 года назад

      Hi Steve, yes, the plywood I use is 3/4 " and it is 150mm wide. Just in case you are interested, very soon I will be releasing a video about how to make a bending jig and another one about how to build the solera and both will be available soon on my website: www.onlineguitarmakingcourse.com where I already I have available for sale a complete guitar making course video series.

      @@stevehensen8837 these are not included on the course, you have to buy them separately.

    10:16 what is the name of the tool for heating??

    • @redkitekk
      @redkitekk  3 года назад

      It is a power cut off timer. You set up the time and it will cut the electrical supply to make sure the wood doesn’t burn. I bought it years ago in LMI a Luther supplier from USA. You can find them in google
