(as if I'd be able to verify)😁 But, To answer your question, i believe when i first heard, "who will save your soul", like millions of others, i suppose, this was the first time, i fell in love with Jewel, followed by many other instances, to elaborate upon later. But so eloquently wrapped up in the song, is the very lyric that the song embodies; it's purely 'soul'ful music that has a genuine wisdom and originality that is so fulfilling. As one of the most Emotionally intelligent people this era of humanity has to offer, in combination with someone of such talent and a truly "earned" celebrity status by the merits of your artistry and musical skills, it's actually very inspiring. There's a beautiful combination of qualities that the world really needs to learn from you. Have a fantastic day, evening, week, month, year, and outright life. What a wonderful person she is . Listening to her , her story and truth , I'm thinking also about Shania Twain's life which in many many ways were very similar to Jewels . There is a common denominator between them. I would so love Shania Twain and Jewel to come together in an interview or something of the sort.....I admire both on soo soo many levels. Way to go Jewel for being YOU and true to yourself...Your spirit is so beautiful.

Been a fan of Jewel since she played Dorothy in the 1995 concert production of The Wizard of Oz. Her rendition of Over The Rainbow, WOW!!! Anyone who remembers watching that concert on TV?
Yep! It's kind of funny; I actually came across a DVD copy of that EXACT show about a month ago! I snagged it quickly! I have been a fan since back then too; and I thought she was the prettiest girl on Earth back then! Look at her now! She gets prettier with age, doesn't she? I went through some dark times back when her 2nd album came out, and her songs helped me get through it all! A self proclaimed "Lyrical Gangster" she certainly is! She is talented in everything she does! (have you heard her brother, Atz Lee sing lately? You tube him singing, "Freeze in your bed" on Jewel's stage...he's amazing!

It wasn't too long ago that some admiral gave a speech, the premise of which was "Make Your Bed". If you get up and the first thing you do is make your bed, it sets the tone for your rest of your day. It sets a daily precedent for accomplishment.
I used to suffer with chronic depression. I just couldn't get up for doing anything. They tried anti-depressants but they made me feel like and Extra in some zombie movie.
I did know that when I DID get up and manage to get one thing done, I felt better. That simple advice "make your bed" reinforced what I already knew but gave me a simple one-step program to begin each day and to fill my day with getting-things-done. I don't even go to bed depressed very often anymore because I KNOW that when the sun rises, I too shall RISE UP and live it!
I used to look at my long to-do list and get even more depressed because I knew I probably wound;t get anything done that day. Now I look at it and the longer it is, the happier my day will be.
Because I will wake up...and make my bed :)

seems Jewell figured it all out... if anyone can ever figure it all out........definitely worth learning more about her and more importantly what she has learned. The power of the subconscious mind/spiritual connection. I called it "Inner core Paradigms". We get absorbed with these experiences and inputs from others without any idea or permission from those others when we are children, then most people grow up never knowing or understanding or even being aware where all these thoughts came from. Saddest part is that the vast majority of people don't even care what the crap is that runs through their brains! Wish I found this woman when I was younger. But then again, I bet she wishes she found this woman when she was younger too!!! LOL I LOVE authenticity. Authentic people have answered the 3 Questions that so very few even know those questions exist, let alone know the answers.

Although being around 4000 miles away I've kept track of your career and its great to see that you are still making great music and looking beautiful. Maybe one day I will get to see you in concert. Happiness is getting the life you want, not staring at the wall wishing you had things. Life is too short to miss out. A lot of these 'mindfullness', talks are dangerous and can push people over the edge. I appreciate my material things, but I want and deserve love and sex and good friends and success..
Dangerous? How so? Are you a therapist? Certified Counselor? Just wondering because I am, and I've NEVER heard of "Mindfulness" pushing someone over the edge! (Or are you claiming that a "Mindfulness" talk pushed you over the edge?) ...Mindfulness has been around for literally THOUSANDS of years and has done wonders for those who practice it regularly! Are you aware of the Science of Mindfulness being on the cover of several magazines lately? Or that Harvard University (and just about EVERY university that specializes in Medicine or Behavioral Health, ie, Berkley) all have Mindfulness as a Major Course now? The art, science, and teaching of it is "Evidence Based," meaning, that it has been studied again and again and again, and deemed both Medically and Psychiatrically SAFE & HIGHLY EFFECTIVE! It is recommended to help with the treatment of everything from Cancer and Chronic Pain, to Anxiety and Drug Addiction!
When you make a claim such as "Mindful talks can be dangerous," please explain what you mean exactly, and provide detailed evidence to back up your claim. Otherwise you're making a totally empty, and clearly uneducated statement...which is a big waste of space! Empty statements are useless - It's 2018! Maybe you need a nice vacation cruise!
