Here from a mention of your channel in a flex nibs thread on FPN. I'm working on polishing my print & cursive by incorporating more edged italic-y calligraphy, so I'm starting to get curious about flex nibs. I'm disabled and extremely low income, so I'm especially grateful for channels like yours that offer vicarious thrills getting to see all sorts of pens. I hope I find some vintage & higher end pen videos in your channel. I like your conversational style and video quality a lot. Thanks for posting videos! I have done a bit of videography and tried dipping my toes into macro vids and they're TOUGH to do well! Good on ya for keeping these going, I'm grateful!
The crabs theme fits in well with one of my other fave channels - a small lobster catching boat crew, they spend a lot of time getting rid of the barnacles off the lobsters that get thrown back and talking about how lobsters grow... your voice reminds me of the main guy on that channel. It's nice to listen to.
Super excited about this review! I was so tempted by the rainbow version. But i wasnt going to order until i saw what you thought. 🎉 thank you for yet another wonderful review, Oh Captain, my Captain!
Hello Chris, busy morning here; I just sat down to rest and cool off from the midday heat when I was pleasantly surprised to find your latest review. Regardless of whether I like the pen or not, I always enjoy your examinations and closing exhortations. To you I wish a continued happy and relaxed retirement with enough motivation to keep sending us these very useful reviews. Enjoy your Sunday afternoon. 🇨🇦
Thank you, Chris for the overview of the V200 rainbow. I do like my unadorned V200. I like titanium pens in general. I have not thought about an anodized version, though Inkquiring Minds and Doodlebud have done their own anodization. It does provide visual interest. I usually get one version of any particular model of a pen. I just do not have the space to have all the variants. If I find a new version of a model I have, I sell the old version. The only exception is the Visconti Ragtime. I have two, one celluloid and one resin.
Nice review Chris, that one is pretty colorful with that anodizing. I have an unadorned version that I enjoy. It's been a while since I've used mine, but I was under the impression that the section can unscrew from the body, thus allowing one to eyedropper the pen if desired. If my recall is incorrect, I have a different way of getting a full fill.
Great video as always and my day is going great…even better since watching this! You have the first review of this! Love the colors! The o-rings in blue are a classic touch! How was the steel nib anodized.
Hey Chris! Wonderful review. I’ve already got the basic version so I will skip on this one, but it may be a great gift 😀. Btw: you can unscrew the whole grip section in asvine v200 if you want to clean the pen. No need to remove nib collar and use syringe like with p36.
I just bought and filled this pen yesterday! I was wondering if you offer your restoration services to the public? How much would you charge to restore pens of subscribers? I noticed you said you were restoring a sentimental one for a viewer I believe
Just as I'm trying to be on a hiatus from buying pens... 😂 How was my day? Pretty decent. Was a day I could kick back and relax. But I'm off and running tomorrow, again. After breakfast and a coffee, it's phone call after phone call for various reasons, and Tuesday is another doctor's appointment. How was your day?
Pretty good. Focus was finishing lots of little things. Not an outdoor day, on/off rain. Yesterday was a great tennis match. We won a set. Held my last serve with an ace. We played 2 hours in high heat & humidity. Amazing we all survived.
I have two Asvine V200s and I enjoy them. However, the fill you get is far more than I can ever achieve. My V126 fills much better and I don't know why.
Don't be shy. Leave a comment. How's your day?

Thanks Chris for soldering on in the great fight of exposing that great pens need not be overly inflated in hype or price
Please also give the doggie a skritchy scratch from me as well
Thanks for watching. I appreciate the support.
Dogs get lots of rubs.

Thanks. May you also continue to have a great day. I enjoy retirement everyday. I'll do my best to continue to make videos. Thanks for watching.

I like the anodized one much better than the original. That ink you're using its really nice.
Thanks for the review, Chris. I've been tempted to buy the v200 for awhile. With this new one, I may finally do that!
Hi Chris...ugh --- I don't "need" another pen LOL --- oh well, LOVE it - just ordered it! THANKS
You will LOVE it!

Section unscrews. You could ED with syringe by unscrewing nib.

I expect some form PVD coating on the nib.

Even with section removed, I'd still use a syringe.
Very pretty!

I do some restorations. Please send me an email about what needs work. I can supply some parts. chris@rapseik.org
@@chrisrap52 Thank you! I’ll be sending you an email with photos soon! I’ll check out the pen parts website too :)

Ok, this pen rules.

Where can we buy it? I can't find it online.
As I show, on Amazon, Asvine store.
