- What do you get when you combine a mid ending and a front engine trophy truck and run AWD. Well you get this monster. Imagine twin LS3 motors
and transmissions. One is driving the front wheels and one is on the rear. This is a one of a kind beast that produces over 1000 Wheel Horsepower
I will let . The silt slayer won the legends division in the baja1000 in 2018

I never see a trophy truck whit 2 engine and 4wd thats crazy
Saw this truck in person when I went to visit Geiser Bros.... Truly an amazing trohpy truck to see in person. Seeing that double engine truck gave me the chills.
How have we only now just found this video, that is awesome.
That’s one bad ass truck. It took 1st in its class at the Baja 1000. That says a lot about how it handles. I imagine it sounds awesome with both engines running wide open. It’d be cool to see video clips of truck in action.
Michael Jones it took 2nd at the 1000 in TT legends
Absolutely insane! Can't imagine the amount of man hours that went into this build
So much respect in this build
Coming in hot !!
Everything s competitor could ask for! Powerful , competitive, across the board legal, and same milage. Thanks guys for a great build!.
Wonder what I going to dream about tonight@#$!!!
thanks for watching dude ..
Crazy ideas+ crazy engeneers=crazy mashine
The engineering is truly amazing you guys have done. Big PROPS!!
Man this is FIRE!!!! Awesome content!!
thanks man and thanks you for watching ! more coming soon
Awesome truck guys
Nice video! The championship was close they only won by one point this year!
I have a Burro Bra I built but it only has one engine. A Bronco is not as long with a truck bed to fit two. Still has a lot of travel on Kings. I had to put a nice B&B well built engine. A full roller MAF and AFR heads etc... and a built trans and transfer case. Glass fenders bedside and hood and on and on. Love off roading it passing groups fast over good size whoops at 70 mph toasting a hello without spilling my drink blasting a friendly song on a loud clean stereo! A lot of work. I make good money but not the kind to have it built like that but way better than it was. Amazing on each trip I take. After having trucks I upgraded with good kits sold at off road chain stores call great and the best with Rancho's. With more modern tech and work it is another level off roading far better in every terrain than before. A renewed love for the dirt.
So gnarly, what a build
Two engines! Ok that is very interesting. I wonder how it handles compared to a single engine factoring torque steer etc.
how is it with weight bias. with an engine in the rearish plus the spare tires out back, did the extra weight from the radiator in the front help with that?
I’m curious how the extra weight will affect handling or if it is inconsequential
How did you make sure that the front differential spins forward and not backwards?
7:47 -- Piston engines are actually most fuel efficient at peak load (around peak torque, not peak horsepower). Now that said, having two engines probably lets them run closer to peak torque rather than pushing them closer to redline, so it probably is as efficient as he claims, just not for the reason stated.
Built a twin engine (Subaru) prerunner a few years ago. Old news.
Clyde Stacey rpm team
can you do a walk around on rpm's twin engine diesel trophy truck? idk if that truck was successful or not, but I am pretty sure they got that truck around :)
This is the same truck. They swapped it to LS due to turbo lag ..
trophy burro thanks for the response. Interesting to know that it’s the same truck!!! That lag would make sense to be a problem I guess 🤔.
They blew up 15 engines trying to get it to work
Ok.....but does sound like with both engines?
If either engine has a power issue or drive issue you are done. Can you run it on one releasing the other to push the extra weight ? Maybe sand drags would be good ?
Hilarious
@@slynn5138 It would be like different gear ratios in the front and rear of a regular 4x4. Not spinning the tires at the same speed without the same HP and torque always. Racing off road can have issues to cause this.
Harpo Marx got big
Will this truck be running in the 2020 King of The Hammers
WTF Fabrication Nightmare
where do you see that? I see pure art and performance !
@@trophyburro Just saying it's hard enough when it's a mid engine truck let alone a front engine too. Not knocking it at all. It's amazing that someone would do that. I knew Geiser Brothers where something special when John Herders Truggy debut in Laughlin in 1999
Jeep was the first when they prototyped the scorpion. It just wasn't a trophy truck. In fact trophy truck wasn't even a thing when this was introduced.
The cons out weigh the pros compared to a single engine 4WD trophy truck. Looks like 2x the moving parts = 2x chances of something failing. It's far easier to coax a reliable 1000hp from LS. Blonde guy needs to resist looking directly at camera.
Why so heavy if it gets the same millage and the same effects why have 2 motors for just 1 not working as hard
For the AWD and standard trans drive train set up is my guess
Justin Lyman thought the same thing, mustn’t be that efficient otherwise you’d be seeing it more often
How About you have them other clowns quit working while you guys are making the video so we can hear a little better?? Sheeeeesh 🤦🏻♂️ Super smart with the build, lacking in your filming skills tho.. props anyways ✌️🤘🏻
thanks for the feedback. We are defiantly learning the video side of things.
The only thing worse than a Chevy, is a truck with two Chevies.
