A lot of Pinoy listeners appreciate good sound quality. We have quite a community of audiophiles. But a lot of uploaded Pinoy music contents were taken with crappy phones. One of the reasons probably why most of these musicians has few followers.
Sir I wish you can go in my other pinoy reactions on CRAPPY video and help me there...my ears HURT for some of these recordings with crazy distortion and blurry cameras...some of these older folks seem to love these recordings...I guess it's like people preferring to listen to vinyl records? Nostalgia??
@@DrumRoast I guess it's mostly economics. Most can't really afford a proper setup, especially musicians where it's their kind of a side job, or a lifelong passion. Few music companies lend a hand either, except probably for some token freebie equipment for the more popular ones. In short, for a lot of them this career doesn't bring home the proverbial bacon. It gets more complicated for drummers who require a more complex pre and post setup. If you browse through our local solo cover artists (singers/ guitarists), many have more than good equipment due to their much simpler needs.
@@DrumRoast Wow! Thanks for the pinned comment. 😯 As you say, you talk a lot... but that's also where we pick up on for our own insights or added details.
@DrumRoast yes Tom, I have music collection from them but I'm having more on Smooth Jazz like of Bob James, Earl Klough, Tadao Hayashi, Michael Franks...more like these.
