I hope I'm not the only one who misses the 2010 - 2012 era of Halo Mega Construx stuff. The kind of sets and figure packs that were released when the brand was still called "Mega Bloks". That was the golden age of Halo merchandise. The new stuff isn't bad, I just wish the sets leaned more into being based off of the older halo games, specifically the OG trilogy and Reach.
I remember having the old halo wars sets with the aa cannon set and the ghost being the first sets I ever got and playing with them on the floor using empty game cases as terrain
Man oh man are those designs dated… but everytime I see the OG warthog I can’t help but just melt into a nostalgia puddle. Between these sets and Minecraft life is starting to feel like the best moments already happened, years ago.
The first set my grandma ever bought me was either the mongoose or the uhhh... Probably the basic green warthog from 2009 or the banshee. I had a whole table by 2013. My little cousins destroyed them all... Then I grew up, got a shifty job... And the first thing I did with the money was recollect all the sets at 300% markup from eBay, all new.
2:13 was my first when i was 9. unfortunately my dumb ass lost the vehicles over the years and 2 years ago gave over 300 mini figs and 13 years of collecting to my nephew who lost most of it in a week and I recently restarted my collection after realizing I still had my scarab in a storage tote along with the haunted spartan and xbox anniversary eod and since have gotten the floodgate, elephant, guilty spark, xbox 360, arbiter vs heretics red team rescue and some figure packs
First set was the OG warthog and set that had the red flame trooper, a few UNSC and covenant. Then it jumped around to a blind bag here and there then her first flame hog and it went uphill from there.
Well everyone before they made these sets these where action figures built out of mega bloks before it was called that it was something like halo wars collector series and I had the odst sadly lost everything with him lol
Read my collection when I was five but the very first megabucks that they ever released because my dad got it for me I lost it obviously but I just got back into collecting in and so glad I am because megablocks is awesome

My First Set was the Halo Reach Mega bloks Revenant
I still remember getting up Christmas Morning and playing with it
