Hey John, I’m a bit of a perfectionist and if you’re trying to learn the software, I always just want to know what the tools do and how the heck do I get my picture in the software so I can cut something lol. Will a 1/4” but fit In The bobs cnc e4 ? Or does it have to be a 1/8”
You will need to pick up a collet that will fit your router. They make a 1/4 collet and 1/8 collet. You put the bit in those and then tighten. Look on Amazon. 👊🏻

Brand new bobs cnc quantum max owner, have only turned it on once, been watching your videos! Question is I noticed your lettering traces the outside of the line but I only want a single line for each letter, what would be the setting or font that would do that? Or do you have a video already I can watch?

I didnt see you enter in any spindle speed for your tooling. where do you enter that info in?
What type of wood are you using
This is Mdf. Typically with the cnc spoilboqrd is made of. It’s perfect for making signs because it cuts like a dream and leaves nice sharp corners. Down side is it’s messy and dust everywhere. But it makes for beautiful signs and that’s why I choose it for this project! 👊🏻😉 Ty for the comment!
I would have typed "Eggs Butter Milk" all at once to simplify the alignment and sizing process....
