I have the bone exam next week and I’m a little bit confused about the fibula. The top and bottom of the fibula look very similar. Do you have any tips on how to tell what’s the ‘head’ of the fibula and what’s the ‘lateral malleolus’?
ruclips.net/video/Iqe7zz8bXaE/видео.html I have been asked this question before so I shot a quick video with my cell phone! I didn't have time to really think it through but hopefully it's clear enough!
@@AnatomyHero Thank you so much! I just saw the video and it is clear. I think the reason I got confused is because the difference between the head of the fibula and lateral malleolus is not always clear in pictures. If I had a fibula bone in front of me, then I’d be looking for the pointy part in order to determine the head. But some pictures are shown from an angle where I cannot make this distinction. I took the bone exam and luckily they didn’t ask us trick questions like that. Now I’m just preparing for the muscle exam. Btw sorry for the late reply. For some reason, RUclips doesn’t notify me when I receive comments most of the time. I just decided to manually check after I saw the fibula video. Thank you for your help! :)
@@chariots8x230 I'm glad you saw it even without seeing the comment! Totally ok ok the late reply...youtube does the same thing to me! Good luck on your muscles!
