    We use these boiler water loops all the time in Brooklyn basements. Just keep the water clean and you won't have a problem. If you size them much bigger than the pickup capacity of the boiler, they'll be rather expensive to run, as they pull quite a bit of heat out of the boiler. You may want to control them so they don't run while the boiler is steaming. Otherwise, depending on your burner/boiler sizing, the burner may run all day to make steam. Nice project Paul. Quite inefficient though for those who have swallowed the green scam.

      Thanks! I like green stuff but when it comes to boilers I’ll take 82% trouble-free for 30 years with almost no moving parts every time

    Usually, your supposed to use a bronze circulator but u already know that. Your boiler water is so good you may never have an issue. You can do a loop with one tapping in a boiler as Dan describes. You do it with a double tapped bushing with an internal pipe in the boiler. Water loop has to be 100% tight as well.

      Yep thanks I mentioned how he explains it (where I said it’s like a dip tube). But I think returning to the wet return is easier
