Btw, my biggest comfort reads are “Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe”, “A Christmas Carol” during the holidays, “Salem’s lot” when halloween is just around the corner and last but not least the inheritance cycle! I’m re-reading the Inheritance Cycle right now (just the thought of the story was a big comfort escape-from-reality for me itself, but I never picked it up to read again after Inherintace was launched. I felt, after reading Murtagh, that I needed to re-read everything and I’m thinking the story of Eragon it’s even better than what I remembered!)
Ooh, that is a question that is going to have a different answer for every person. I personally prefer a physical book in my hand, and I think reading comprehension is better with a physical book. Audiobooks open up a lot of freedom to enjoy your book while doing something else. And some people just prefer to have the story read to them. And sometimes it depends on the quality of the audiobook narration. I would say go ahead and try an audiobook and see what the experience is like.
If you’ve only read them once and enjoyed them, I think they’re worth a reread. A long series like that will always have more that stands out on rereads.
I loooved thai video from BookLeo! And OF COURSE, yours too 😊
Thanks appreciate the insight those books are my comfort reading.

I think at this point I have read The Inheritance Cycle enough that it has become a comfort read for me as well.
