I was hesitant when I saw the title. "Why do we need this? I mean it was a good movie and all, but does it really justify a sequel? I mean, what would the characters even DO!?" Then i watched it. Oh man the jokes! This movie looks great!
One of my favorite animation movies of all time! The first one was a classic and the 2nd one was even better! I love the chemistry between the voice actors and the story was magnificent! Nothing like an adventure movie with a group of friends trying to survive and achieve there goal! The animation was beautiful, especially for that time when you compare it to now. Like the first one, it made me feel good at the end... and also made me kind of hungry, lol. But all in all, this movie definently diserves its spot in my "Foodieverse", movies about food and cooking...

Well her character development was based on her not caring what other see her as, so she gave up trying to look good because shes beautiful in the inside.
So they have to turn off the machine before the food spreads to other parts of the world... sounds suspiciously like the first one but now the food is alive.
