@Walter Wicca - Real black leaders like Malcolm X / others the USA/European country governments have had assassinated never merely alone needed nor only wanted just supporters. They absolutely needed truly brave and diligently committed supporters to fast and fearlessly become active leaders able to skillfully command brigades of warrior soldiers/not to just merely alone not be supporters. Malcolm needed hundreds of thousands of AA supporters to become fearless, smart, skilled,/formidable/reliable leaders! Where were Malcolm X's supporters when his home was bombed? Where were they when his life was being threatened? Where were his loving/protective supporters that February 21st evening at the Audubon Ballroom? Where were all the black race public "ride or die" black, brave, fearless, supportive, active defensive,/protective hordes of leaders to surround ensuring the safety of not only Malcolm X but also Marcus Garvey; the young Fred Hampton/ the other original Black Panthers; Khalid Muhammad; MLK Jr.; Medgar Evans; Maurice Bishop; Patrice Lumumba; Steven Sankofa, Nelson Mandela, Steve Biko; Steve Cokely; Walter Rodney; and hundreds of others? Where were the resourceful and protective black people united as one!?

One of the most powerful films I ever watched was a French-language film produced in the late 70s called "I as in Icarus" which was loosely based on the Warren Commission's investigation of the Kennedy Assassination. In the film, one member of the Commission - brilliantly played by the late Yves Montand - refuses to accept the investigation's finding that a lone gunman was responsible for the assassination and starts his own independent investigation which results in his own assassination. At the end of the film just before he's killed, the investigator learns the significance of Icarus in Greek mythology. In the Icarus myth, the sun represents the truth and Icarus flew too close to the sun and his waxed wings melted and he fell to his death. IOW, Icarus got too close to the truth and because of this he was killed. Malcolm X was like Icarus. He got too close to the truth and was murdered.

Facts!!!
You are so right. If I knew more about Malcolm X at the time, I would have named my son after him.
The United States government with the help the news media (ABC, CBS and NBC) vilified Malcolm X. When I watched Spike Lee's movie, Elijah Muhammad was clearly influenced by the media coverage of Malcolm X. Unfortunately, African-Americans also are swayed by this slanderous and libelous portrayal of Malcolm X along with the Black Panthers. A real effort should be made to change this white supremacist rhetoric.

Who killed Malcolm x made me cry really hard man. The fact that he was left alone, betrayed, with no money, no foreseeable solutions. And he went out to give a speech, it’s absolutely insane what you are capable of if you’re a man of faith, if you’re a man of integrity. Malcolm X was a legendary Leader and orator. To me Malcolm just said enough in his speeches that immortalize him for ever
Yes indeed.....
For real it broke my heart and made me cry especially to hear Mohammed Ali speak out against Malcom💔…Elijah Mohammed clearly stated that Malcom will surely die and advised Ali to avoid him…smh…so it’s senseless to say he didn’t have anything to do with it or for the least instigated it…Damn jealous coward…

Absolutely. Everyone must answer to Allah at our death.

I became Muslim at 16 and one day I won tickets on the radio to a concert because I also loved hip hop. I went to pick up the tickets and was on the elevator with a lady who saw my folder with Arabic on it's cover. She asked me about it, I said I am Muslim. She exclaimed really? !! There's Mexican Muslims in San antonio, Texas? I affirmed and smiled. Later found out it was qubillah shabazz. Malcolms daughter. She worked at the radio station. Alhamdulillah what are the odds?
There is no news here. I read the autobiography of Malcolm X many years ago, and I read the ex FBI files on him and King and others.
It has taken this long for anyone to do this. I’m not terribly optimistic something will happen
Seems like they waited until the main killer died before they allowed the truth to come out.
The "shotgun man" didn't kill Malcolm, his pellets went through the wooden rostrum and would not have killed anyone, it was the pistol shots, the 45 caliber bullets they pulled out of him, just like the ones in Hayer's pocket, that killed Malcolm
she still affected by her dad being killed
So true imagine a room full of brother Malcolm.. My God we would have been Powerfull
Of course!!!
The heartache that comes from the death of a parent never goes away.
She is not by herself.. Me also
Thank you Amy and to all your team. Contributing to establish real Justice in this Country.
Awesome interview session. The power of Brother Malcolm X lives on.✊🏽
Malcolm X is a true legend for us in the near east. He has always been my role model and hero. May God bless his family and his soul in Paradise. The world now needs people like him not just for the black people but for all just causes in this chaotic and unfair world ...In the darkest of nights such moon is missed.
