This looks brilliant! Basically, the tabletop game on the computer for those of us that could never afford to have these as GW models. Adeptus Titanicus was also what got me into 40k back in the early 90's
This I didn't get a chance to grab ... but I do the same with the skulls event... I check out what is there and on sale .... I still miss Eternal Crusade. I know there is a private server of it up and running and is being worked, however it is from over Seas ...
Did that code have an expiration date? I have the issue you're talking about but never got a chance to redeem these. I want to save myself a long sift through my storage if it is already too late.
@@elGringo69 I wasn't implying the license was taken away from them. I was suggesting that when it expired, they couldn't afford to extend / retain it.
@@moredragons228 They had no reason to extend/retain it, assuming that was even an option available under their original terms. The two devs that made the game had already moved on to other studios, were no longer supporting the game and had already sold what the title was going to sell. There was no financial incentive to extend/retain the license even if it was an option.
Mission 14- I think the game may have given you the surviving engines from the last mission. Given you had one reaver left at the end of mission 13... EDIT: And a couple of missions later you come to the same conclusion.
It was done by a two man indie fan team, then GW Corporate heard about it, bought the rights (threatened them with endless lawsuits), stuck an NDA on them and pulled it. Because they didn't get to do it themselves and screw it up. Sad, I remember when GW where an indie fan company that published D&D stuff. Yes, I am that old.
That is not what happened lol. The devs lost the license to WH in 2022, therefore it had to be pulled, they no longer had the right to sell GW ip. Not only did this use to get promoted in White Dwarf in 2019 and 2020, steam codes were given away in White Dwarf.
so yea if its removed from STEAM, fuck em, there is no moral honor code that prevents me from acquiring this by any means.. i just downloaded this from PB

there really should be a 40k mech warrior type game. you can add anything from infantry to stomp on, tanks knights and titans.
could be awesome
Didn’t know this game existed

Huh ? an Inquisitor on a Forge World that builds Titans ? Haven’t seen that before. Let’s hope she isn’t like a certain Ordo Xenos Inquisitor
I got this as part of a swathe of games that came free with a White Dwarf some time ago.

@@OzMee The game's not on Steam any more, so I doubt you'd get it, even if you found the code from 2 1/2 years ago.
It wasnt SEO, it was because the devs lost the WH license and it had to be pulled from sale. That is what the devs said in 2022 when this happened.
If they had better SEO, the game would've sold better and they wouldn't have lost the license.
@@moredragons228 they didn’t lose the license because of sales. It expired in 2022. Licenses are not in perpetuity my man.

It's tragic what GW have become. I know your pain battle brother ✊😞

Loved the campain its shame it was too much for only 2 guys....
Why was it delisted?
Could you imagine if they made this in the style of Mechwarrior?
👍

why you talkin in code man? whats SCO? not everybody is hip with your lingo
Pretty sure he meant 'search engine optimization', given the context.
They should have made it first person like Mechwarrior games, wasted opportunity
Well, it is more like the battletech strategy game ;)
This game faded into obscurity because it wasn't very good, and very boring.
i betcha i can torrent it
It is a very bad game, I still play it as a joke sometimes
This game looks bad
