      ​@fich1111 It is far more than ADCC. We can not say how many people watch ADCC, but we can do maximum. You can watch ADCC only with an annual subscription, which is 150 USD. By Flosports public part of accounting the revenue of Flograppling is bellow 5 mil USD. So even if all revenue of Flograppling came from the subscriptions (which is not) and their revenue bellow 5 mil was 4 999 999 USD the maximum people who can watch ADCC is 33 000 on official stream.

      The slanted walls are the standard now. Just head and shoulders above the standard mat layouts! Backing up and not engaging is unbelievably detrimental! It's perfect. 🤙🏼
      I was extremely critical of having a 10 point must system and rounds. But after watching that last night I'm more than willing to admit that I was wrong. The format worked great!

    Without question or hyperbole, this was the greatest jiu jitsu tournament I've ever seen. Did not expect some of those wins but now I have new people to be excited about. I hope every other tournament is watching and taking notes. This ruleset is the best and most watchable for non practitioners that has ever been put together.

      Same for me and that’s what’s going to make the sport more popular is by just like any professional sport having thousands and thousands of people watch it that don’t compete. Just the average guys that go to work every day and just want something enjoyable to watch on TV. That’s what makes sports very popular.

    You did it Craig! Athletes can get paid, competitors can joke around and not take themselves seriously, multirounds allow the matches to develop, sloped walls keep the action and the 10 point system is intuitive for the audience!

    This mat concept with the slanted wall is GENIUS!! Absolutely no stoppages for restarts. The match goes until submission, time runs out, or if there's a blood stoppage. Any other tournament has constant restarts for going out of bounds. This is absolutely genius!!

      @fabrizio9920 nicky ryan really has all the skills and knowledge to be one of the best in the world...but between the ruotolos and tacket brothers he needs to realise, his cardio is terrible because he doesn't work near hard as these guys. He's regularly blown way over weight, we havnt seen him lean since he was 13 years old.
      With the work rate of the new guys, he needs to figure his training out, or he might aswell quit...
      Get on a versa climber two session a day and completely blow your lungs out aswell as bjj.
      Will sort his shit pretty quick

    I have actually been so impressed. Its crazy how far a little online trolling, a personality, pettyness and 3 million will go.
    This has been a joy to watch as a BJJ fan. Production was also very good . Very high level matches and upsets.
    Commentary a bit weird at times but great effort from the guys on the desk. Looking forward to day 2.

    Awesome job by nolf! Imo it shows that wrestling like judo is a bit hampered by a narrow rule set, and with the freedom of sub grappling it's harser for the specialists to adapt. Huge props to nolf though, what an absolute unit!

    Tired as fuck today because of this tournament. I was starting to nod off at the tail end of the 80+ bracket. But once Tye vs Nolf kicked off, it was like a shot of adrenaline!!     Nicky Ryan gotta start training like the rod bros. You have all the technical abilities in the world he needs grit and aggressiveness with a gas tank to back that up. The times he tried everything worked. But my god Tackett is a DAWG. And has superstar potential. Eoghan is very underrated too.

      The whole Bteam "we all coach each other" thing doesn't work for undisciplined people. Nicky needs a strict conditioning coach. Cuz his conditioning is at an amateur level.

He’s too used to sparring and this adcc trials where people actually took a slower more controlled tempo but the moment big breakfast used his athleticism he won Nicky. Nicky probably beats everyone in his weightclass or lower in sparring but man needs to step it up and actually go at it like Nicky rod.
