For the record = I am old, an old musician ( drums, Guitar, Vocalist) and I found these young folk = NICKEL CREEK, Sara, Sean & Chris ..... and was amazed .... also on the way along I found Sara Jarosz & The Milk Carton Kids ..... all have been a wonderful omen for Real Music prolonged and proficiently played still. Kudos fine craftsmen and women !!! GBjj

I discovered them in 2001. I tagged along with friends to a concert without knowing anything about them. I’ve been enamored with them since. Love their oldest tunes but it’s always great to see musicians grow and change, too. I’ll see them live for the first time in 22 years next month. They are so special.

Their catalogue of songs is truly timeless. Their music has aged like fine wine.

I remember seeing them about 10yrs ago at the Wilten Theathet in L.A Calif. They were well worth keeping the ticket stub which I still have in 2021.such talent. I wish I could do that concert over again. Oh well. But it left me with great memories to look back on.

A buddy of mine called them “Hee Haw: The Next Generation.” He was a big fan, though, and he was only kidding.

9:27 is that a different variation of St. Ann's Reel? I would love to know if anyone has heard this version or can point me in the direction of this?

Never heard this called St. Ann's Reel. It's Sweeney's Buttermilk, by Brendan McGlinchey.
