He speaks very intelligently. I feel lost sometimes when trying to understand him and I am enlightened when I am present. I am thankful thankful for his teaching nonetheless.

I know a guy who has a very healthy ego and he's much more caring and giving than a lot of do called ego less spiritual people. When he says ego he means identification with the

Yes that you have a body abstract false concept indeed...You are an interdimensional being who came here in human form to live out a temporary human experience n discover who you really are while shifting w all of US to unite in unconditional bliss of 5d reality also to balance out past life karma n receive dharma n abundance from the universe namaste

11:17 - I once read a book called _"Easy way to stop smoking (Allen Carr)"._ Its main point is that the need to smoke was never real, and in my opinion, it does quite a good job at explaining it, although it takes a certain amount of "openmindedness" to start getting it. I struggled for 6 years, but I eventually gave up smoking tobacco, and becoming free of the "inner urge to not be a smoker again" came so natural, obvious or given, that I almost never honor the accomplishment of having scaped from that tobacco trap. I wasn't trained (I didn't learn, indeed) to recognize myself (currently under training). Kind of similarly, _"becoming egoless"_ is another made up goal that justifies the recognition and validation of all this struggle of spiritual guilt and spiritual shame. The need to stop needing. Tricky. Sticky. Edgy. Sucky. _"I guess this must be another lovely expression of Love. I accept! What a Present!",_ says my superstitious and spiritual ego, trying to rationalize whatever fiction causing friction.

I didn't listen to this yet, but I have to respond to the title. In the beginning on the spiritual path, the self says "I of my own self can do nothing." But, a realized union with God, one could say "I can do all things (Superego state I guess) through the Christ, which strengthens me."

Shunyamurti - Can you please explain the "mechanism" of consciousness entering the body, at or before birth? Where was consciousness before birth, and what makes it "enter" ? Thank you.
You existed as a universal stream field of consciousness outside the nexus of tyme n space basically a thought form connected to the What is then your energy was placed in a body along w your spirit n soul when the doctor spanks your bottom n you cry your consciousness in turned on for the first tyme in your new avatar body

Is the term "super ego" being used here Freud's definition of that part of the psyche that operates as the moral compass? The "negative, cynical, punishing parent"? Is that what you mean?

how can the impersonal create such personal beings including animals. Consciousness is extremely personal.
But thats counter-intuitive since technically your not a person understand
@Larry Primeau. I would say that it is God's illusory power named Maya (illusion) that make us perceive a rope for a snake. So, this illusion power is what maintain the idea that the body we are in is our real self. Thus making a part of the impersonal consciousness to see itself to be personal.

Is there any individuality left adter the ego is disolved.
And who is the one to let go of ego ,if there is nobody there?

If the consciousness has no interest in a body and a personality, then why incarnate? Then why the world and samsara? Is not all of it divine?
If the ancestral connection is a curse, then why the traditions, what of the divine right of Kings, the aristocracy, the Brahmins who initiate the tradition into this realm. Is not the ancestral tradition and connection a means to create a settings and structure for consciousness in this reality so it may experience life with some sanity and meaning, to aspire in individuals heroic values?
