“Mamma Mia” is a 1975 single by Swedish pop group ABBA. It is the opening track from the album “ABBA”. It is one of ABBA’s best-known hits and also the main theme in the musical and film of the same name. Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Stig Anderson wrote “Mamma Mia” at the home of Björn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Fältskog. ABBA did not initially plan on releasing “Mamma Mia” as a single. But when “I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do” spent three weeks at No 1, the public clamoured for more ABBA. The arrangement was written by Frank Bernaerts.
