Mr Faceplant In the previous games like 3, when you're in combat and kill someone or you get hurt by a weapon like a sword, blood will stain on your robe which makes it look realistic

Pros that I can see: brought back stealth in tall grass. Fighting looks solid, RPG mechanic where you can upgrade weapons and find new things off of enemies. The eagle is alright, makes for a more expanded Eagle Vision and not just near the player. Graphics are great, I hope they bring back the death rooms.

A lot of comments about the graphics, so let me just say this, as a fan since AC2. Assassin's Creed has never been a game about graphics, and never will be. It's a game that's main "draw factor" is to take history and rewrite it in a way to allow the player to have fun in a open world as an assassin. With that said, yes, the graphics do look limited, but for a few good reasons.
1) This is in-game footage of the developer alpha, as was disclosed to press. This means it is not the final version and there have already been more versions made, they just thought this was the best version to present at this time.
And 2) They had to make this game then adapt it for the newer hardware mid development. If you know ANYTHING about development, you know how hard that is and how crunch time is basically essential when that comes into the picture uninvited. This game will be great, and the graphics will be the best they could be for the sudden adaptation of Scorpio and (eh) PS4 Pro.

Why the fuck are there SO many people judging this game, based on 5 mins of ALPHA gameplay... There was literally 1 fight, and loads of you are judging the combat, it was ALPHA, and people are judging how clunkey the game looks. Im not saying that these people are wrong, the point im trying to make, is to give the more than a 5 min demo a full verdict...
That's the return of the legendary jumps that were presents in the most famous Assassin's Creed Unity ^^

Either i dont get the refference or u missed something. Beyuk is actually the first assassin. Hes the one that has founded the brotherhood of the assassins :) So it is indeed the birthplace of the assassins.
Tosch aka ChIMeRaTeX I think people mistakingly count everyone from adam and eve onwards as assassins when they actually werent. They filled the same purpouse but not really members of any order like the others where.

David Forslund actually Shaun and William Miles said the assassin's existed for over a millennium, maybe even older because the earth got scorched and restarted civilization according to revelations
Now we need a good story too and Assassins Creed will regain its old glory :) #hyped

It says alpha footage, 4 months before release. Guys, it doesn't mean that the current game and the animations will look like this, It could have been recorded months ago to prepare the conference, also this is 4K, huge power needed to run such an enormous map, so most likely it's on low settings just to push it at 60fps. They wanted to show us ultra resolution and instead they got negative comments about the graphics, bad move Ubi, should've waited until their conference to show the game, this was unexpected.

World looks big, I'm a little excited about this one.
This looks like its bringing it back to its roots. Hopefully the story will be as great as AC1,3,4 abd Rogue. Those titles represent everything great about the franchise.

franchement je suis vraiment pas emballé après pour syndicate je l'étais pas du tout et mise à part le scénario que j'ai trouvé divertissant mais moyen et que je suis déçu qu'on ai plus de réel présent avec héros etc j'ai été assez satisfait du jeu donc pourquoi pas ...
mais déjà en ce qui me concerne je suis vraiment pas fan de l'Égypte depuis très longtemps donc ça va être dur d'évoluer dans l'Égypte antique , après le héros ne m'a pas l'air charismatique et cette mini carte m'a l'air à chier ! mais ce qui me plait dans ce nouvel opus c'est surtout le délire début de la confrérie et du conflit j'espère un vrai bon scénario, bonne chance à Ubisoft épater moi comme avec syndicate que je m'attendais à nul et que j'ai quand même apprécié (je suis de ceux qui n'ont pas détesté unity , je suis pas un grand fan , ok le scénario et pas top , perso j'ai eu aucun bug , ok et je suis d'accord le présent est nul car il y en a pas et ok le gameplay laisse à désirer mais je suis désolé en ce qui concerne l'immersion dans Paris c'était ouf !)

Bruce Snow This new installment, to me, looks very generic, and the models look so childish and last gen. No volumetric lighting was added wich is a step backwards from the super realistic look of Unity and Syndicate. Just like the Watch Dogs2 they copied the drone look by using the eagle which is already done and it doesn't feel right in this line of games. I saw the original feed of this presentation and the gameplay was really laggy and the animations were terribly clunky. The whole game looks cheap mesh of other games without a soul of it's own and this is just sad. Freaking Alik'r Desert region in Elder Scrolls looks more inpeessive and impressive tgan what we just watched.

Yeah, I'm still a bit skeptical about all of this, even though I'm a huge fan of AC. Ubisoft has sadly messed up things before. But I gotta say overall I'm excited about this new game, I hope it will improve upon previous titles.

The only thing about the newer games is the fact that you are supposed to be ASSASSINS not gladiators. They keep putting upgrades for you so that you could walk into a stronghold and just destroy everybody that walks into your path. Only the first few games made it difficult to take on more than 5 people. Now i can take on ten knights and remain strong to fight more.

what happened was they started listening to the whiny PC elitists who prefer a challenge instead of fun in combat, it used to be very fun until unity, syndicate did make it more fun though, I don't want to play a game for a challenge that sucks days out of my life, I want to play it to have fun and enjoy it.

I bet half of the people who say "they should make it like the original games" forget how shitty and buggy the old ones were, people only like them because of nostalgia and because the games were new and innovative back then. It was hard to tell how the combat really is going to be in this game but I just hope it's more like Unity and not anything like Syndicate. From the brief demonstration it definitely looks different but we will just have to see...

The one thing I'm concerned about this game is if the story going on in the present time is going to continue or if it's still going to be forgotten. I understand that the main point to assassins creed is going into the past, but for me, being able to leave the animus kept me sorta grounded in reality. Plus it would really feel like an assassins creed game if they did that. I want to know what's happening with Juno, Shaun, Rebecca, and Desmonds parents. Also did anyone else kinda wish that they had a cutscene that showed Desmond in the afterlife being greeted by Altair, Ezio, and Connor? Ezio just says something like "Welcome brother" Just a thought
