Fall/Winter 2014-2015
A hypnotizing dance of fire circles the runway: an equestrian atmosphere alternates with flashes of elaborate flapper dresses.
A parade of tweed, Donegal, leather, military shapes and enveloping blanket coats makes a powerful entrance: like a modern day hunting party that blends with the symbols of the Maison. A show of classics - the uniform coat, the python trench lined in leather and the white mink trench, a pant with side stripes and the new Chivalry pant are cut with sartorial precision in the Roberto Cavalli tradition, but animated with sanguine details.
Lion and horse heads, straps and riding crops, foulards that become dresses. Leather and fringe inserts, fur with animal stripe inlays, all signs of the Cavalli military Neo Chivalry.
The dance intensifies when the Cavalli woman reveals flashes of light and movement in the flapper dress: this woman who takes shape among the prints, the intarsias, the lace and the embroidery is a modern Lee Miller, the muse of Man Ray and of the most hypnotic debut du siècle. A time of sinuous outrageousness, revisited today by Roberto Cavalli with complex workmanship.
The femininity of the twenties and the geometry of the thirties weaves in and out of the collection in the dresses below the knee that are open-ended with slit or fringed hems. Hems that reveal games of lace and chiffon, feathers and crystals, that cut through the prints, make the butterflies embroideries fly, and that make petals open.
A circling that catches on fire when from black and white the dresses inflame with red -- in a pure fire print, on fox fur or a feather print - to then become deep blue or black, like a night that's illuminated by the Cavalli woman.
Her bag is the Regina, big enough to contain the entire kingdom of whoever wears it. Handles and details in brass worked by hand, panels of scale prints, the signs of a cosmopolitan traveler, that circles the globe guarding the secret of energy.
Roberto Cavalli is one if these few brands, that actually has amazing creations! Most of todays fashion hasn't even a lot to do with real fashion anymore, but cavalli never disappoints!

Sally Ironic A lion cannot use a gun to kill a zebra. That kind of animals are in wild nature. A human is also an animal with an advanced brain. We can think. Also a lion does not wear skin of a zebra or a human. So, that is not fair that you wear a rabbit skin on you. In addition, if you think a plant can have so bad suffer when you cut it, then you should not cut it, cause it is the most cruel thing that I've ever heard. There are lots of evidences that an animal have too much pain while someone seperates its fur. If I saw a video evidence about a plant can have pain while someone cuts its leaf, I would not wear or eat its leaf. Btw, I already do not wear a plants skin on me.
+Sally Ironic Besides the ethical aspect of usage of animals for any purpose, the leather and fur that are taken from animals cannot be used directly and they have to be processed with enviro-destroying chemicals, worker-killer substances in order to prevent them from decomposing. No human and animal can live near a leather and fur factory because of the poisonous garbage. And do you have any idea about what is being decomposed? I tell you the answer "killed animals flesh,skin and fur". How can you compare the times when people have nothing to wear to protect themselves from freezing and the time that we have lots of options to wear for cheap? A lion has an instinct to eat another animal, it is not an amusement for it, but what about fur and leather that people wear? The aim is not more than enjoy! Enjoy of some fashion- related people. And if you are sorry for plants ( even if they have no feeling, family, any ability to stop suffering, any tears, any consciousness) then that mean you should cleary be aware of the fact that animals have all and more symptoms than plants, which should give you a stop and think about animals as much as you do for plants! Raping is an act that is practiced for billons of years by humans, does it make "rape" innocent? Just because humans have used animals for thousands of years, does it make the usage and abuse of animals right? Just because we are more intelligent than them in a scale of iq eq or etc that are made by and for humans? If the Intelligence is your criteria lets go and skin off down syndromed people and tell them i am more intelligent than you!
