- Steven Curtis Chapman performs live at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan- recorded during the Signs of Life Tour on April 12, 1997. This concert was filmed by Sparrow Records and promotional copies were given to insiders. It was never released commercially, possibly due to the fact that Steven had a cold during the concert that affected his vocal performance. Despite that, this full concert is a unique document of the Signs of Life Tour.

Yeah frankly I don't think he's ever had anywhere near as good of a drummer since Will.
So lucky. He was part of a festival tour in the UK in the 90s and for whatever reason he pulled out. Been gutted ever since. Even if I saw him now he's not the same, but I doubt he would ever come to the UK or sing any of his old songs that are my faves lol 😅
He sounds like he is struggling with a lot of these notes here though, and then at the end just bangs out an amazing scream/growl lol. His falsetto is always perfect though no matter the video

Not sure where you got this but I’m glad you did.
eBay... MANY YEARS AGO! On what looked to be some kind of promotional VHS tape. I was later told that copies of the show were given out to people connected with Steven and Sparrow Records. I didn't have a way to digitize it until recently!

Hate to see Mr. Chapman having to strain his voice singing in a concert that should have been delayed until he was better. The Lord blessed Steven since performing that night because of his Faith.
