I was there last year, the video does not do justice to all you see and can learn. There was a super nice young lady there to show you the sea life and give you a hand out to help you spot creatures! Great video. What a beautiful spot in Southern California.

Thanks M! You will love this tide pool! I'd never seen fish before until this visit. It's a really great spot.

It sounds like an absolutely beautiful place! I love the smell of a barbecue at the beach, with the fresh wood fire and salty air. You can't beat it! Thanks so much for sharing your story. I can picture myself there right now! :) V

Its at the Anjifa Beach in Kuwait. When I was like 5 or 7 Me and my brothers and Grandpa always go there after school and sometimes I get scared when I come to the tide pools (because of the crabs and sea snails). Its really a great time to go there in low tide and Anjifa Beach is an awesome place to have a picnic at sunset because sometimes I see people have a barbecue there and sometimes I see kids that have buckets and bottles for looking for sea life in those tide pools.

Here in California as well! We spotted the opaleye, sculpin and a garibaldi during our outing at Treasure Island beach tide pool! Thanks for your comment!

Hi Tim! It sure would be nice to have an extra hand! Thanks for the nice comment. We were quite busy during this recent shoot and filmed quite a few fun videos in Laguna. Now if only we could travel and actually relax, LOL!

Thank you! I was surprised myself at how many creatures really live in there. I guess there are even octopi from time to time, but they disguise themselves pretty well. I also learned that an octopus can change colors with its surroundings, much like a chameleon. As always, thanks for commenting. You are always so kind. Veronica

I have Tide Pools on the sea where I live but the only things me and my family can find are:
    1 - Sea Snails
    2 - Cuttlefish remains
    3 - Crabs
    4 - Sea Urchins
    5 - Hermit Crabs
6 - Some worms that live under the rocks (I don't know what they are called)
    7 - Sea Dollars
    and last but not least
    8 - Shrimp

This was 2 years b4 Fukishima, go back there now to see what you wont find, that is any sealife. The Tidepools are very much dead now due to the constant dumping of radiiactive water in the Pacific ocean which is killing all sea life. THe whales are dying off now, due to starvation. SOrry for the bad news for Calif Travel Tips website, but dont go to Calif expecting to see life in the tidepools anymore.

if you don't want them to stand on sea life then why do you tell them "we're standing on sea life". hey, maybe you should just not go at all!
