  • This bike was just in for service, Originaly purchased by the owners Father in Law at Pelican Cycles in Northern California in 1973, The Transmission was overfilled recently, and the transmission breather was blocked off, so it forced gear oil into the clutch plates, ruining the clutch plates, Steve-O pulled out the clutches for replacement, and replaced the seals in the motor and transmission. The new owner added the cruise control, and I believe the new grips. It still has the original ribbed cables which is very rare. Foe a 50 year old motorcycle it is truly amazing. Thanks for checking out the video. Check out Cyclegarden.com for more parts and service.

      Salve, amico!
Thanks for your kind words towards those great composers and musicians from my country, they are indeed among the best in music history.
If you ever come to ride here in Brazil you gonna have a lot of fun. The country is huge and we have endless roads and pretty breathtaking sights.
And, above all, since Brazil is tropical country, we don't have anything like a "riding season". Every day is riding day!
But I must say that beeing a History of Art researcher myself I can't help also loving your country too. Italia is one of the nestles of the western art and culture and brought to the world so much beauty!
      And the bikes, my friend!?
Oh... Guzzi, Aprilia, Laverda, Ducati, Mondial, Cagiva, Bimota and so on... So many great and historical names!
Maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to ride around lake Como and pay a visit to Moto-Guzzi factory/museum in Mandello del Lario. An absolute dream trip for me!
Buona fortuna for you too, best regards fom a Brazilian fellow motorcyclist.

      Salve, amico!
Grazie mille for your kind words about those great composers and musicians from my country and about the country itself. They (those composers/musicians) are indeed some of the best of what Brazil has to offer to the world.
If you ever come to ride here in Brazil I assure you gonna have a lot of fun. The country is huge and it has plenty of endless roads.
And as a tropical country we don't have anything like a "riding season". Our climate allows every motorcyclist to ride everyday!
But I must add that being a History of Art researcher myself I can't help but also loving your country.
Italia is one the nestles of western art and culture and gave to the world so much beauty and excellent food as well!
      And the bikes, fratello mio!?
Moto-Guzzi, Laverda, Bimota, Mondial, Ducati, Bennelli, Cagiva are just few of the big and historical names the came from la vecchia e bella Italia!
Maybe one day I'll be luck enough to ride around lake Como and pay a visit to Moto-Guzzi's factory and museum (and its wind tunnel) in Mandello del Lario.
Best regards from a fellow motorcyclist from Brazil, buona fortuna for you too.

Very cool. 2:40 looks like a longer part of the battery strap needs to be flipped around.

I always thought misaligned numbers on the odometer like that meant it has been wound back at some stage? I wouldn't care though I'd still buy it. Nice bike. I saw you had a Le Mans III a few weeks ago (but it might have been an old video), did that sell?

I think it’s just the manufacture of the Veglia speedo, it is original miles, the bike is not for sale
