Something I kinda like about getting the msgnotfound sword on 1.2.1 is that it is sort of a showcase of many of the glitches that this version has to offer. While the setup is pretty complicated, I think something as powerful and prestigious as a permanently unbreakable master sword kinda deserves it

You know? I kinda like that We had to struggle a lot in BotW to Upgrade the Master Sword to its true Power, and I like that to get "that" Master Sword, the one that still hasn't break, you must struggle again

@@CharaDreemurrrrI’ll add one to the mix. I’ve had digital 1.1.0 since release and never updated. I barely ever connect my Switch to the internet to avoid unnecessary updates. If it ever updated, I’d go as far as factory resetting my Switch and never downloading digital TOTK again just to keep the glitches lol
This other vid is over an hour long. I thought the process with the shrine was the worst. Then this dethroned it. Feels great that it doesn't need to be done again.
Seriously. Even with an emulator I can set my master sword to infinite durability. Easier and quicker than all this entanglement bullshit. Good on this dude and anyone else that has the finger dexterity/patience to do this though. Fuuuck.
I finally got the msg after literally 4 hours!!! Thank you so much! Also for those wondering what is so good about the msg, you can modify it to get it up to something around 80 base damage.

If you keep getting the control stick fused to your back in step 19, that means your doing it right. The map step is stopping the fuse and allowing the slingshot effect to happen.
Going to save a life here. In step 20, if you try to use a weapon that has a low-to-the-ground fuse point and you try to do the test to see if you fuse entangled correctly, when the steering stick teleports to you, it will teleport too low and get stuck in the ruins. To avoid this, use sticks (like in the video) or use polearms since the fuse point is high off the ground. I spent a few hours trying to figure out why my steering stick kept falling through the floor. Figured that out and I have MSG! Thank you Yang and the whole community! ❤
Yeah, you're definitely supposed to sheath the stick before you move forward into the culling zone. Thats what he did in the video and cut around that action.
There is an better way to zuggle it on v1.2.1.It's: -Go to akkala citadel ruins chasm -Save manually -Mineru fuse entanglement -Cold fuse steering stick -Open ability wheel by Mounting mineru or another Steering stick -Fuse the first steering stick to your shield -Enter chasm little deep proceed to zuggle with map method -Equp heavy weapon after dropping the MSG -Find a weapon and chest with weapon Note-make sure your weapon bag is full -Place the chest near to wall -Drop your weapon that you're holding -Now you are able to change your shield -Equp another shield and remove it -Reload your main save You are ready It's pretty simple and easy to do

I acquired my msg prepatch and I'm glad the process wasn't as convoluted as this was. Fuse entanglement is just too much of a pain and annoyance to perform and is the worst step of ANY glitch you need to perform. At least I can dupe my MSG ☠️☠️☠️
Istg this kind of glitches must have been placed there by the devs, and after some months that no one found it, they themselves show the trick as a bug, because there is no way someone found this 💀🙏😭

hi, thank you so much for this video! i’m struggling to get the timing to work on the cold fuse (step 3), either i do it too early and fuse the stick normally to my shield, or i do it too late and nothing happens at all. do you have any advice for timing the cold fuse? could something else be getting in the way?
update: i’ve been able to get it a couple times :) i think it was just a matter of getting familiar with and adjusting to the correct timing. at the second mineru fe right now, will keep updating ^_^
update 2: been making good progress, everything went smoothly up til the end of step 7 until i killed the likelike, at which point it dropped my shield but strangely not my sword? i progressed a bit just to check that i was successfully able to recall lock the shield and transfer it between saves (i am) but i’m going to start over now just to keep things going as smoothly as possible
hi, it seems that when the Likelike only drops one equipment, it could be because the steps 2-6 were done too slowly, next time when you are more familiar with all this stuff I think you should get both of the equipment!

I have a question What happens when you pickup the shield and sword before you transfer the shield with fe and then try to do the rest of the process I also want know what happens if the weapon that you transferred is a 2 handed weapon

When I tried to drop the weapon while carrying the steering stick, link wasnt culled. It could be because I went to the coordinates you SAID, which was 0000 0100, when the ACTUAL coordinates were 0000 -0100. So when I went there and tried it, it didnt work. Do I just reload the Akkala Citadel autosave?
hi, if Link does not cull, it should not be related to the coordinates, it should more related to not putting the control stick in the culling area (right next to the wall in Akkala citadel)

I'm having trouble with step 19, I already do the Crazy stuff with my shield that like I'm equip various shields and do the stuff with steering stick to do recall lock, but when I reload the save the steering stick are missing. Can u help?
hi, I think it might have to do with the fuse entanglement step, did you do that step right? the control stick should be moved to you after you exit the menu, please make sure you see that.
sadly one of the glitches namly portaculling is a 1.2.x exclusive glitch. It is possible on 1.1.2 with another method however but that require 2 frame perfect inputs in a row and messing it up will cause you to have to do quite a bit to get back to that point
I am at the final step but when I threw the msg at ganon and unpaused the master sword just flew away and it’s gone now can I reload a save to retry again?
You can go down the platform escalating the wall, down there is floor so you can pick up the sword, and then go up again escalating the wall, but you will need to do it below a bridge which is missing a part of it in the model, it is the main bridge to ganon's platform

Over a year of glitches building up on each other. The whole community came together to make this possible. A shame that none of them made it into the video.
Because it requires a glitch called portable culling which only works in 1.2.0/1.2.1. there is a method for 1.1.2 but it requires 2 frame perfect inputs in a rowand messing it up will make you have to redo a lot of stuff. Currently there isnt any tutorials yet for 1.1.2
Nah man to many steps 😂 glad i use emulators just use a save editor to get the msg master sword or just use unbreakable weapons mod or for those who have modded switch don't have to go through that pain XD

And for me the sticks weren't working so I used royal browdsword and it worked in the first attempt

I am at the final step but when I threw the msg at ganon and unpaused the master sword just flew away and it’s gone now can I reload a save to retry again?
You can go down the platform escalating the wall, down there is floor so you can pick up the sword, and then go up again escalating the wall, but you will need to do it below a bridge which is missing a part of it in the model, it is the main bridge to ganon's platform

Over a year of glitches building up on each other. The whole community came together to make this possible. A shame that none of them made it into the video.
It’s related to many people’s observation on what functions or actions effects and breaks the code’s stability and allows you to exploit that

i mean it is harder to get msg on 1.1.2 but the rest of the glitches are easier and better and once you get the msg you dont have to do it again

Hey Yang, why doesn’t it work on 1.1.2?
Because it requires a glitch called portable culling which only works in 1.2.0/1.2.1. there is a method for 1.1.2 but it requires 2 frame perfect inputs in a rowand messing it up will make you have to redo a lot of stuff. Currently there isnt any tutorials yet for 1.1.2
It is possible on 1.1.2, just not with this setup, as it uses a few glitches that are exclusive to 1.2.0-1.2.1

Nah man to many steps 😂 glad i use emulators just use a save editor to get the msg master sword or just use unbreakable weapons mod or for those who have modded switch don't have to go through that pain XD
