I’m an army vet and I used to fish all the time every duty station I was assigned to,and then I had a death in the family and had quit bc it didn’t feel right. Watching you and the guys rekindled my fire to pick it up again! Thanks for that! Oh and I take pbj’s with me with the right combination of jelly and pb.

I grew up there (Linwood and Pinconning). My friend and I would wade the reeds and throw shannon spinnerbaits and small flat fish to catch largemouth.. Later, we would use a canoe.. Back in the 70s, that water was not that clear. That fishery has become a great place to fish.. I live now near kentucky Lake, and this is where I do my bass fishing.

Watched you guys since the beginning of MLF and all yall’s vlog as a fan please speak on that bs by Becker at Cayuga. I would hand that AOY trophy over no questions asked for even remotely what was done there. Any other sport and it would be a mandatory public press conference: If you want to grow the sport there has to be transparency to the fans.
Saginaw bay has a lot of smallmouth, but it's so large, and they are so scattered and transient that things like this happen more often than not. It will Likely never happen due to not having a large city nearby to host, but one of the major bass organizations should do a tourney in the N.W. Lower peninsula, say, out of Traverse City. They would have all of grand traverse bay(not as large as Saginaw or LSC, but easily itself as large as many of the southern lakes), and be able to run up or down the lake to any number of sunken river mouth lake/basins, as well as out to the islands if the weather permitted. It would not be a numbers game like LSC, but the smallies are everywhere, and huge, and there would be lots of options for largemouth as well.
