I never understood the "all numbers" compulsion, although I've a great interest in rail & locomotives. Once you've seen a few Class-47s, Class 323s or whatever ... I'd settle for ticking off the "type/class" box, not *every actual existing unit* as they are normally near-identical. Thanks for uploading the video btw

It's free, it tickles that obsessive compulsive nerve, once you've ticked off a few it activates that special reward system in your brain, probably similar to the way gambling does. Overall probably a tremendously good diversionary path for people that could otherwise be getting their kicks in much much worse ways 😂
This has a weirdly personal note for me, filmed at crewe when I was a small child being taken there with dad, honestly suprised my dad didn't pop up in it, some of the people spoken to probably knew him and saw me plus siblings there.

Where do you find these? Fantastic 😊. Surely that wasn't a Royal Mail 325 was it?

I was given a vhs tape of it by a friend who took part in the film. Not a 325,although it does look like one,it was a TPO rake.

@avocet1989 It's marvelous, and do you know if that piece of land is still used by enthusiasts? Captures the charm of Britain beautifully.
The couple being interviewed were brilliant, I my house those roles are firmly reversed 😂.
Thank you for all the great content you post, I for one have enjoyed it greatly.
