St. Aengus's Church ⛪️ in Burt in County Donegal

St. Aengus's Church ⛪️ is a Roman Catholic Church located in Burt in County Donegal. It was consecrated on 25th June 1967. It replaced an older church built in 1780. It was designed by Liam McCormick with its circular shape modelled on the nearby Grianán Fort. It was awarded Building of the Century by the Royal Institute of Architects Ireland in 2000. It is one of four churches in Fahan Parish in the Diocese of Derry.
