Civivi is doing a powder form 9cr Damascus that is done really well. 👍 this one is to small length and profile. The Altus is this size but a bit chunkier and feels better in hand.
I just got my stainless grey Nox in the mail, and I decided a titanium pocket clip would be cool on it, so I took one off my Knifeworks exclusive Pyrite and it fit perfectly! Now it looks just like the ZT 0450, lol, if we didn't know better. Now it looks really great next to my ZT 0460 in the knife roll. It makes it great bc of that hole Frankie hates for the clip. It insets perfectly in that hole, that's what she said. Lol
The Damascus for civi is great their heat treat is one of the best if not the best in the budget area , sharpening on my kme is easy and takes a great 600 grit edge . .
I tuned my NOx by bending the lock bar measured amounts using flat thickness gauges, and made it very happy and snappy. Then, several days later it was hard to open. After meditation, I realised that I was squeezing the frame lock bar !!l. Liner locks are friendlier.
Getting more and more into civivi and WE. Been carrying a WE elementum, my only gripe is the pocket clip. I don’t like deep carry, wish you could buy the milled clip separately. I think the Nox would benefit from it to I think
Hey guys I love the channel watch all your videos I have the backlash but there is no markings on the blade at all it has the finger troil with blue liners do you know what steel this is is it D to keep up the great work👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 And I lost the box
l don’t like the laminated (marbled)CF look. Its just industry waste and an epoxy, fused under high pressure. Lamborghini invented the process for light weight automotive parts. A solid chunk of woven CF just looks nicer to me. Like on my fluted CF Native 5 :)
I must of got a bad one then. I was doing very light prying that wouldn’t even be enough to damage the tip of a PM2 in s30v steel and the civivi’s tip just curled up. They look pretty and all but I’m no rush to buy another.
I have 7 damascus Civivi's never had an issue with the steel. I really enjoy the Nox.
I think you are correct, Hollow grind.
I love your channel. Thank you so much for all your hard work!

Yes, they need to come with a piece of metal (or whatever) and a couple extra screws to fill in the pocket clip "other side". Totally Agree.
Give it some time, someone will design a filler and throw it on Thingiverse.
Whooo... Glad you didn't miss those weights at the end... I wouldn't have been able to sleep tonight 😜
The Nox looks very similar to the CIVIVI Backlash, NO JOKE! I have a backlash with the Blue stainless steel liners and I LOVE IT, SO SMOOTH.
Amazing content as always!! Been loving the channel for multiple years and you guys are amazing!! Keep up the phenomenal work and content!!
Thanks Shaun 🙏
I agree… that empty slot pushes an OCD button with me… with me, with me!🤪
It needs a matching filler-spacer-thingy in it… or sump’n.
Love them both !!

I’ve had similar experience with a few framelock knives!

I suppose the frame lock design saves a little weight, but I prefer liner locks (and spine locks) for several reasons.
Love the blade shape of the Nox. Don’t know if I should pull the trigger on this one 🤔 love it when Frankie tells Bird to get his nerd on, lol😂
Thanks David 🤓

That would definitely be nice to have milled clip options 👏
Love the title!
😂 😂
Put an extra pocket clip on the left side to fill up the slot. 🙃
😛 😛
I took the stupid pocket clip off mine. It makes it twice as thick on such a thin frame. It is thin enough for free carry in my pocket.
Thanks much for the looksy
Thanks Marcos
Looks like a nice knife.
Question … what knife are you carrying right now .? , I’ll go first para3 (maxamet)
For me: kizer mini domin tuxedo along with purse knives so that’s like 4 more lol 😝 -Frankie
I don’t want to be obNOXious about this knife, so I’ll just say it looks pretty nice. I might even buy one with my own money.

Thank you!
The original Baklash should be 9Cr18MoV 👍
@@BirdShotIV thanks for the info I think I spell the word wrong is it spelled choil
To my knowledge (not that that makes it accurate, just what i've heard around the interwebs) Civivi's damascus is a 9cr base.
brilliant 🙏🙏🍀
Thanks for watching Max
Nerd out. Man she holds no punches on ya.
I miss buying knives. I’ve gotten to be so poor. I’ve been thinking about a cardboard sign to help me buy more knives.

“Will work for blades.”

Hey
Their Damascus is as soft as butter.
😂 hopefully not THAT bad 🧈
I have good luck with it but then again I'm not chopping down trees with Civivi Damascus.

Wow you are too punny folks
Damascus and carbon fiber looks too busy to me.
