06.22.2024 CRA Rd4 Race 10 F40LW Buttonwillow - Yamaha R7 Onboard

Well... I qualified P2 in my session but mixed in with Experts in F40 Lightweight put me P6. I was not ready for the flag to come out so quickly but got into it and passed Cliff on his RS660 on the way into Phil Hill. Mucked up Sunset just enough for Jimmy (Santiago) to get me just before braking into Sunrise. It was on!
… until I realized my AIM Solo 2 popped off its mount. It doesn't have the magnetic base so I couldn't just slip it back on and it was just flopping around and hanging by its cable. Retired, DNF.
