Started a Go Hard Podcast and instantly switched over to Street Alpha as soon as it came up! I usually just listen to Go Hard Podcast as background noise when nothing else is on.
These shop owner/engineer videos lately have been killer! The street racer stuff is cool but I've learned so much lately from guys like him, Forced Performance, etc

Please interview Calvo Motorsports, Go hard podcast did a terrible job since they kept interrupting him and wouldn't let him talk. There was so much left on the table and I think you could show go hard podcast how a real interview is done. There is so much we wanted to learn about those vipers that we could not learn because of the unprofessional host of Go hard podcast.

I remember Tony putting out the video of a stock car on ID 1000s on honda-tech. I think a few months later I had them in my turbo Integra @100psi base fuel on e85. Fun times.
I've seen zero evidence what he said is true about it slowing the turbo down, High Performance Academy have a video testing it but only at like 15psi and there is zero difference in turbo speed after lifting off the throttle between running a valve and no valve, I've heard from people that build 1500+ hp RB engines that they only started running them because they were bending throttle plates and if you look at top level drift cars in Europe or Japan none of them are running a valve.
31:44 could this be done with a clutch pedal and a linear potentiometer that measures the movement of the pedal? Could the pedal movement then be defined in a table with the DCT clutch engagement through the TCM? How could this be done?

@@DriftNick all depends on turbo and pressures. No need for unecessary pressure to intake. If anything, reroute the extra boost into something else

One question. Does Tony mean ambient air temps at the turbo compressor inlet or ambient pressure at the compressor inlet? Or is it both.
Temp matters too, but pressure is generally the bigger factor.

ZFs are automatics, they're always "connected" or "engaged", DCTs need to feed the clutch in and that takes a slight delay.
