By the way…it was confirmed by Viv that Satan was talking out of his a*s that he ruled hell before Lucifer. Lucifer always shirks his kingly duties which left Satan, the next strongest of the sins, to subsequently “rule hell” in his own manner. Don’t be hung up by it too much.
To be fair I wish they would have just had him say hell instead of the the endless dark because some might interpret that as the time before it became known as hell. Also why make the sin of wrath lie about that, that is more in line with the sin of envy or pride honestly.
@ When you have to make 2 separate series with different writing concepts, story and goals, it will only be a matter of when and how much the lore between the 2 crossing would bare such glaring contradictory details. So I agree with your statement of the endless dark and hell and hope people don’t assume that as well.
21:32 To clear this up… While I’m not sure if it’s different in other renditions of Hell, at the very least, in Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss (which are both canon to one another), Hell is ruled by the Seven Deadly Sins, which consist of Asmodeus (Lust), Beelzebub (Gluttony), Mammon (Greed), Leviathin (Envy), Belphegor (Sloth), Satan (Wrath), and Lucifer (Pride). While the other six sins hold their own rings of Hell, including Satan who has the Wrath Ring, Lucifer rules over the entirety of Hell. And also, to clear up any OTHER questions about Satan, no, he did not “rule before the Golden Angel’s (Lucifer’s) fall.” He was lying out of his ass, and even Asmodeus and Beelzebub looked at each other like “this guy fr?” after he said it.
Andrealphus' plan is actually genius. At first I thought why he wouldn't just go after Stolas, since he's the big fish afterall. He has nothing to gain from an Imp. But then it hit me. Notice how when Stolas intervened in the execution, Andrealphus was smilling? He wasn't shocked or suprised like anyone else. He was smilling. This tells me that he expected this, which implies that this was all part of his plan. If Stolas was trailed, he would have an actual voice in court since he is royalty. Andrealphus would find it hard to get him in trouble. Its not like they are going to bring Striker in to say he tried to assassinate Stolas since Stolas is the one in trial. The entire thing will become a he said she said. Unless Andrealphus can find people willing to say Blitz was doing illegal shit thanks to Stolas, like witnesses or what not, he can't really have that case in the bag. Its not like he knows of Verosika or Fizz, and even than neither would testify against Blitz. But maybe Andrealphus saw that going after Stolas directly would not have given Andrealphus favourable odds. There were just too many variables. On the other hand, no one was gonna take what an Imp had to say seriously. Andrealphus could push any accusation on Blitz and the others and no one would say anything. All except... Stolas. He knew, well everyone knew, that Stolas and Blitz have a thing. So since he smilled, he probably expected Stolas to come. And you see, that's the beauty of it. Stolas can't go after Andrealphus in court now because all this time Andrealphus has been "defending" Stolas, saying that Stolas was used by the Imp. Coupled with the fact that Blitz practically screwed himself by saying he could have killed Stolas himself, Stolas was now in a lose lose situation. 1] Blitz gets executed. 2] He tries to go after Andrealphus but since the ice king has been defending Stolas the whole time, and Blitz has lost any of the little say he had, the court [Satan] was never gonna side with Stolas. 3] Stolas takes the fall. Even though he won't die [which is not what Andrealphus wanted anyway], Stolas would still be punished and Andrealphus will be there to take advantage. Its genuinely a well thought out plan. I'm actually impressed.
Counter argument: “Yeah that’s my ex-wife’s brother. She plotted to assassinate me while I was in the room. Bliztø has never once tried to harm me, and Blitzø has a registered Asmodeus crystal to go to the mortal world. Why would he need to steal my book?” At that point the accusations of Andrealphus have become untrustworthy, since that would confirm most of his things as lies.
@@scalesthecobra9685 Absolutely, & Andrealphus has no actual evidence of Stolas giving his grimoire to Blitzø, so he can't prove it, meanwhile, he suddenly seems quite suspicious, given what he has said so far, and especially with Striker there, whom Andy has *confirmed* is the hitman, which he would have to either admit to, or play him off as an actor. Lucifer (or Samael if you go by the Morningstars original angelic name) and Satan have typically been two separate biblical / judaic entities. Though it often depends entirely upon the writings and the era they come from. It's honestly a nice acknowledgement and the differences between the two stand out brilliantly in this episode.
So to explain it even though its been explained a bunch of times before. Lucifer rules over Pride, and Sinners (Humans who die and go to hell) Satan rules over Wrath/Everything Else (With the Sins acting like governors) presiding over the Hellborn. Basically, Lucifer rules Pride, Satan rules everything else.
In the Christian Bible, Lucifer and Satan are usually two separate Demons. Lucifer is a Prince of Hell of the Sin of Pride, Satan is the Prince of Hell of the Sin of Wrath. Asmodeus is Lust, Leviathan is Envy, Mammon is Greed, Beelzebub is Gluttony and Belphagor is Sloth.
@@Zekhomey bro are you not watching the same show as us? in this show theyre two different entities also there are different bibles and religions so in general depending on your religion your answer would still be wrong, but in helluva boss, youre wrong
Just so yall know the Bible itself never states that Lucifer and Satan was the same person. Lucifer is the fallen angel and Satan is just a devilish beast who wants to wreak havoc. Not the same person.
A bit of extra clarification. The name Lucifer was adapted into the Bible later and wasn’t always there. Satan is an adversary to God. Lucifer however is the fallen angel. But fun fact he doesn’t actually exist. It was a misinterpretation in the Bible leading people to draw a connection between Satan and Lucifer because when they refer to light they say Lucifer which is Latin for Light Bringer. The Romans are who popularized this mistranslation believing that Lucifer was an actual person. And any context where they are referring to someone it’s never an angel but just people of somewhat high status so they call them a star, light, or day bringer aka Lucifer. It’s more of a title than a name. Same way the name Satan is also a title meaning adversary rather than an actual name for an angel. Now there a fallen angel but the true name is not Satan. So Satan and Lucifer are different but gets used interchangeably because of surface level connections that doesn’t actually connect when you study this stuff and those are just titles that gets used for multiple different people throughout the Bible. Not a singular one.
I really love how the adorable intern is called "adorable intern" in the credits! Cause it is true! Adorable! Also imagine Asmodeus reaction to Stolas being willing to give himself for Blitzø, because he very well knows he loves him! We don't really see it, apart from a glimpse from far away before the door closes in front of Blitzø, but he kind of looks like he is realizing it.

re: Lucifer In real life it's more complicated, as Lucifer is a fallen angel in Christian canon; the name being the Latin for "morning star" and the same name given to Venus. And "satan" is the old Hebrew word for "adversary", it usually referred to an angel that God sent to test a person's faith. At some point the original meaning of "satan" became forgotten and the two figures merged in most people's minds.
In Jewish Scriptures, Satan is a title (the Adversary) not Lucifer, who was the actual Morningstar, which was his name (Shining One in Hebrew.) A lot of this is tangled up with Greek and Roman lore. (Randomly, I love that Stolas has actual pupils now.)
I know they didn't do it for the future story... But if Stolas sung about his WIFE being the mastermind... to usurp power, then added it was this I.M.P. that rescued him from the assassin. Point out that BlitØ has a crystal to legally go to Earth and all of this was left out including his testimony... cause his Brother in law is the mastermind!
first of all i love you aaron, when people are hard on you it means they love you, i love mickey cause he's chill, but aaron you're the fire. i love you. the nightmare is a story of a mare who stole the light from the gods for a single night and cast darkness upon mortals, but that darkness shines still today that is unforgettable. it isn't a bad thing to be the one who is cast out, because you are who you are, and that makes the nightmare what it is. even if people see you as darkness, you are the light to the darkest.
Mikey: "what does "usurp" mean"? Aaron: "think about it, it's kinda steal" Google definition: "Yes it means overthrow, overtake or take from someone", you see Conclusion neither of them knew the definition, and Aaron was being a smartass, again 😂
Satan rules the wrath ring and all of imp kind. Lucifer created hell and controls all the other rings, mainly the pride ring. But the devil and Satan are the same people.
I'm so fucking happy that Aaron ACTUALLY pays attention cuz holy shit Mikey pisses me off so much cuz it's like he's looking at the screen but he's not ACTUALLY watching the show or listening to what's going on 😑 28:41 AARON I SAID THE SAME THING LMAO

7:15 Aaron is gonna be mad when he finds out Mikey went to Heaven and he didn't! We saw the 130 score, Mikey is an innocent confused soul... Aaron has no excuse!
So, after one hundred years Stolas will get his power back ( I think, if I understood that correctly ), does that mean that he will work at IMP until then? I'm excited to see what Vivziepop will do moving forward with Helluva boss!
To answer Mikey's question: The reason Stella's brother seems to care so much about Blitzø specifically is because Blitzø is an imp, and they are racist towards imps who are lower class. So he basically sees it as filth stepping out of line for trying to mingle with royalty.
Not going to lie, only reason I can see that Stolas had sung about being the one who was behind everything, is because they if I remember correctly have no true idea about who actually is the one behind Striker. Aka didn't know that it was Stolas' ex-wife.
21:14 Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are based on some sort of play or story I think from a long time ago (I think the 1600s or the 1700s) that depicted Satan and Lucifer as two different entities. Also Aaron is right. It’s believed by Christians that there is 1 God but 3 persons of that God: God the Father, God the Son/Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit. They are different persons and are all equal. They aren’t different forms or different parts of God, they are all 1 and equally eternal and equal in power. Tho in most media God isn’t depicted as all knowing, all powerful, and all good and is usually depicted as a God who was born in an unknown way and not a being that is everywhere in time (which is how he was never born/created and is all knowing). And Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are a mixture of Christianity and Judaism (Jews don’t believe Jesus was God), so most likely in Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss Jesus will only be the Son of God and not both the Son of God and God at the same time and God won’t be depicted as tri-omni
Im quite sure this is simply influenced by Ars Goetia. It was a magic book written in the 1600s/1700s describing 72 major demons of hell. Problem is that the stories overlap quite badly because plenty of these demons are just deities and gods from different pagan religions that were christianized.
21:08, Basically when satan said “I ruled the endless dark LONG BEFORE golden angels fall” he is actually meaning that during the time that Lucifer was still an angel and in heaven, satan was “the darkness” but once Lucifer and Lilith broke the rules of heaven and was cast into “the darkness” that was the moment hell was basically formed, so long story short, satan ruled the darkness cause he was the darkness, but when Lucifer fell from grace he basically “tamed” the darkness meaning he beat satan in a 1v1 I’d assume, so that’s why Lucifer is the true king of hell cause he literally tamed the darkness (Satan) and formed the kingdom/rings of hell itself, this is just my assumptions but would be pretty cool if that’s how the story actually was 💯🙏 please lmk y’all’s ideas!!! I love banter! P.s. this theory also goes well with Viv having confirmed that satan is basically “talking out his ass” since Lucifer is no longer concerned about ruling hell and is also no longer present for these court proceedings, so that right there shows that satan is weaker than Lucifer/got his ass kicked in the battle for the title “king of hell” 🤔🙏
Vassago is the only rational Goetia member other than Stolas. His Spanish-influenced personality is none other than Perrito and Gabo themselves! I think Vassago might help Stolas discreetly now that the latter has been reduced to that of a commoner in Hell.
Satan, Lucifer and the Devil are all three different entities, while also being the same, in the oldest Hebrew texts. Lucifer is the fallen angel who's pride led him to rebel against his father. Satan is the adversary, questioning god's authority from the beginning, and the Devil is the ruler of hell. They are one and different in the same way the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are one and different beings. Though this kind of debate has caused schisms in the Abrahamic faiths before.
wait so like...technically stolas lost his power...and for 100 years...wouldn't that make him "mortal" like the hellborn species and thus be dead in 100 years? 💀
The 7 deadly sins: Lucifer: King of all Hell and Pride Ring (where sinners go) Satan: Ruler of Wrath Ring (where imps come from) Beelzebub: Ruler of Gluttony Ring (where hell hounds come from) Asmodeus: Ruler of Lust Ring (where succubus come from) Mammon: Ruler of Greed Ring Leviathan (Levy): Ruler of Envy Ring Belphegor (Goat girl): Ruler of Sloth (lazy) Ring (where drugs and some doctors come from)

Vasago is voiced by Perrito from Puss n Boots
Thats why asmondeus try to save blitz
the two have no correlation what are you on abt
Lucifer is satan.
@@Zekhomey bro are you not watching the same show as us? in this show theyre two different entities also there are different bibles and religions so in general depending on your religion your answer would still be wrong, but in helluva boss, youre wrong
@@lesdies12 Yes I am wrong in hellaverse since they are right on the screen, but I ain’t “generally” wrong boy.
awww the luna and blitz moments have my heart 😭
Just realized the sheep was the sin of sloth and bowed its head because it fell asleep 😅
Bro poor Stolas always getting done dirty....
In the Bible, each of the 7 deadly sins has a name. Satan is the sin of WRATH.
Damn did Aaron smoke a six pack or what holy shit
I've been rewatching this show through you guys and i have forgotten how good this Mfucking show was!
Lmao explaining the courtroom. Like any based internet city fan, I love you both and don't have a clear favorite, it wouldn't be internetcity without mikey, or without aaron.
Im so happy you guys finally got on this shlt and reacted to THE HELLUVA BOSS FINALE, y'all gonne love stolas' song 😭
1:05 that’s a WILD statement lol 😂
Screen shot 1:09 for a fun take
FINALLY! I've been waiting for y'alls reaction, GREAT VIDEO! THIS DUO WILL NEVER NOT BE FUNNY LMAO
Lucifer, Satan and the Devil are not the same being
re: Lucifer
In real life it's more complicated, as Lucifer is a fallen angel in Christian canon; the name being the Latin for "morning star" and the same name given to Venus.
And "satan" is the old Hebrew word for "adversary", it usually referred to an angel that God sent to test a person's faith.
At some point the original meaning of "satan" became forgotten and the two figures merged in most people's minds.
Aaron Voice Cracking Is Funny Bruh😂
16:17 god her little whimper 😭. She really thought she was gonna lose him.
12:53, MUTINY? EPIC THE MUSICAL REFERENCE?
yo i think the close up of Stolas look like Loki FR
Everyone loves Blitzø
Everyone hate Stolas
Stolas´ Song is now basically a Disney Song
Aaron: "think about it, it's kinda steal"
Google definition:
"Yes it means overthrow, overtake or take from someone", you see
Conclusion neither of them knew the definition, and Aaron was being a smartass, again 😂
It took Blitz nearly getting decapitated for Loona to call him dad 💀
Satan rules the wrath ring and all of imp kind.
Lucifer created hell and controls all the other rings, mainly the pride ring.
But the devil and Satan are the same people.
I'm so fucking happy that Aaron ACTUALLY pays attention cuz holy shit Mikey pisses me off so much cuz it's like he's looking at the screen but he's not ACTUALLY watching the show or listening to what's going on 😑
28:41 AARON I SAID THE SAME THING LMAO
Sin of Pride: Lucifer Morningstar.
Sin of Wrath: Satan.
Sin of Gluttony: Beelzebub.
Sin of Greed: Mammon.
Sin of Lust: Asmodeus.
Sin of Envy: Leviathan.
Sin of Sloth: Belphegor.
People making too big an explanation for the lucifer=satan thing, four words explains it all… The Seven Deadly Sins
To answer Mikey's question: The reason Stella's brother seems to care so much about Blitzø specifically is because Blitzø is an imp, and they are racist towards imps who are lower class.
So he basically sees it as filth stepping out of line for trying to mingle with royalty.
10:21 damn bro XD
Not going to lie, only reason I can see that Stolas had sung about being the one who was behind everything, is because they if I remember correctly have no true idea about who actually is the one behind Striker.
Aka didn't know that it was Stolas' ex-wife.
I feel Aaron's pain of having to deal with slow mfs on a constant basis.
13:35 Me in frustration to Mikey: It was ALREADY IMPLIED. You'e just slow man.
Omg I didn't know they even liked this. Hell yeah 🤣❤
That explanation isn’t needed at all because viv confirmed satan was lying
"What does usurp mean?"
NA education moment
Take over or overthrow
That boy Aaron is sick bruh 🤣🤣🤣
I watched this video bc of the title
*They caught blitzo lacking* 💀
Vassago is the only rational Goetia member other than Stolas. His Spanish-influenced personality is none other than Perrito and Gabo themselves!
I think Vassago might help Stolas discreetly now that the latter has been reduced to that of a commoner in Hell.
He was demon of fair nature in Ars Goetia.
Bro Satan sound like a Texas Judge 😂
Satan, Lucifer and the Devil are all three different entities, while also being the same, in the oldest Hebrew texts. Lucifer is the fallen angel who's pride led him to rebel against his father. Satan is the adversary, questioning god's authority from the beginning, and the Devil is the ruler of hell. They are one and different in the same way the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are one and different beings.
Though this kind of debate has caused schisms in the Abrahamic faiths before.
I been waiting for this reaction
wait so like...technically stolas lost his power...and for 100 years...wouldn't that make him "mortal" like the hellborn species and thus be dead in 100 years? 💀
Honestly, the cops at the beginning remind me a lot of the ones in you guys' neck of the woods, just a little more dementor-y.
“They caught Blitz lacking” I MEAN- they not wrong tho ;-;
Out of everything the end got me "Nice stream but gay" 💀like bruh this is Helluva Boss, shit has BEEN GAY
The 7 deadly sins:
Lucifer: King of all Hell and Pride Ring (where sinners go)
Satan: Ruler of Wrath Ring (where imps come from)
Beelzebub: Ruler of Gluttony Ring (where hell hounds come from)
Asmodeus: Ruler of Lust Ring (where succubus come from)
Mammon: Ruler of Greed Ring
Leviathan (Levy): Ruler of Envy Ring
Belphegor (Goat girl): Ruler of Sloth (lazy) Ring (where drugs and some doctors come from)
Lucifer and Satan have always been two separate entities in most Christian mythologies.
Bro This was Crazy 😆😆😆💜❤️💜
Ur my favorite lol but how u explain u knew from the beginning
Love your guys new video keep it up your Amazing😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
In religion Lucifer is a rouge angel that was banished from Heaven, and Satan was a former ruler of HELL.
22:00 It depends on versions, Lucifer is sometimes known as Satan but Satan or Satanas also existes.
I want SO much more Visago.
New episode 12 out now
the front two characters look like they could be M&M kids and the back two Verosika x Barbie kids
lucfier and saton are actaly two diffrent persons
I've never caught a video this early, YES!
small things i think could make a diffrence . make yall camera a lil bit smaller and unblur chat i jus think it would be a bit better yall can full zoom when ever u want
i love you guys!
Originally Satan and Lucifer are different entities
Woohoo now maybe something will actually happen in the show instead of the same character development and it’s regression loop
Mikey read the Bible like
Why Aaron voice screwed up again??😭😂
Lucifer and Satan were always 2 different beings. Lucifer is the Sin of Pride and Satan Wrath. Both were Fallen Angels.
