Respectfully I think the couches kinda look off. Couches are cute but I feel like they take over the space of the room. You guys have so much potential with the space it just feels crowded. Maybe the red curtains play a part. Kinda miss the white background set up would flow a lot better In my opinion. 🫶

Weed makes ya lazy and not motivated , makes you eat bad shit lol and forget shit. Cut back to a few days a week. It’s also a pricey habit . I use to be a pot head for about 5 yrs and had my pothead friends and we would always smoke and just chill and do the same shit every time . Once I quit and had new friends who didn’t smoke . It was night and day, we did things . We went out and tried new things , bars ,restaurants I even traveled to new places .

Wanted to give some feedback on the set: it’s a very awkward set up with you guys having a long couch for one person and they are facing each other but you guys are sitting towards us. It would have been much better to have singular couch like a love seat maybe? I also thought you guys worked something out so we couldn’t see the strings of the sign?
The red drapes are a bit too much and contrasts the couches a lot which is a little heavy on the eyes.

Aww this episode really is touchy. I always get really sad when I think about my little siblings growing up and wanting to always protect them from a bad environment. I really do worry when my siblings go to school whether it’s a school shooting, bullies, or bad teachers. I’m not ready to be a parent omg
Good for you Irma for speaking up to your mom about hey im not the mom its not my responsibility. Sadly for us mexicans and being in a mexican household they forget we are the older siblings not the parents. Being older doesnt mean i have to take care and be responsible for the younger children.

In most cases, I feel a little overwhelmed listening to the podcast because you guys talk over each other and sometimes one person doesn’t finish their thought (it makes me a little frustrated cause the chisme is too good 😂) just a friendly suggestion/request for y’all. Danny I think you should reflect and start to think about others boundaries even if unspoken boundaries. I think you get way too involved in situations that are not your business. Im happy you’re starting to learn about boundaries and this way you want also learn how to respect them. This is what growing up looks like. Im so proud of both of your growth.

51:43 i would always think like this before kids , and I still do don’t get me wrong , but it’s only till I became a parent when I understood my parents and the way they acted or treat us , parenting can be so hard bcuz as parents we still go through metal breakdowns amongst other things but at the end of the day you still have to parent no matter what . Hey Irma and Danny 🩷I love yall so much! But I’m interested in the story of ur sister having a kidney transplant. I have CKD and it’s been a struggle, hearing that I’m not alone bc of my age surprised me bc normally CKD is common on for older ppl.
Yes Irma see for yourself to see if you actually like something or not. You can’t go by what your loved ones say whether or not it works out in the end. Gotta show up for yourself❤
I think weed usage can be slowed down by realizing that most of it can be a sensory fufillment. For example, we get so used to the inhaling the exhaling the smoke in our mouth. It definitely becomes a sensory enjoyment. So it’s less of the feeling of being high that we can’t remove but it’s the sensory enjoyment that we miss. I encourage you both to buy a pen that has essential oils in it . That way you are still smoking, it’s still fulfilling the sensory enjoyment but you aren’t getting high. Also essential oils can help with detoxing your lungs.

You should do a broker about food you should do brokers about dementia because nobody deals nothing about dementia and nobody deals about it. Nobody stands up and it say something about it because my grandma Ana has dementia and we want to buy more stories about it but I want to say that we need to Open peoples mind open doctors minds come up with more stories about dementia. I’m the oldest sibling and I def feel you Irma when you said that you were expected to help out so much! I understand now but now with my kids I try not to put that pressure on them.

When I was younger I did not have a close relationship with my parents. I always had to lie for every small thing and I promised myself that I would be a better parent when the time came.
Well now I am a mom of 3 and I can honestly say I understand why my parents were so strict and always yelling etc.. I'm not saying that breaking that cycle was not my goal but there's def times where I lose my patients with my kids. I do apologize and remind my kids every day about how much I love them but I think what I'm trying to say it that when you become a parent you start to relate to your parents and you understand why they raised you the way they did. Hope I made sense lol
