@Chrysaura i completely agree, trans or not, what she is takling about here is obviously teenage insecurity and the need to fit in, wich is not uniquely a trans experience and i think most people can relate to this...
@Chrysaura I'm not reducing her to anything. I never said this was a trans exclusive thing and I know cis women have this too, but from what I hear it can be amplified when you're trans.
Are all you people actually trans? You're not wrong, it *is* only one part of someone's identity, and cis women have insecurities too, but trans kids... sometimes have trans related angst. Like, it's been known to happen lol. Nikkie might have been talking about this, and she might not have, or she might have been talking about both of these things at the same time-- ultimately it's all equally speculation about her life and her feelings and that's nobody's business but her own.
Just because she's trans, doesn't change anything. Nikkie is a woman and all women go thru insecurities. We all compare ourselves to others. Men do it too. I'm so sick of people saying that she's trans means you're looking at her in a "new light". Nothing changed.
Watching this after she has come out made me rethink what she said, "I wanted to be invisible", "I hated the way I look", it just makes more sense now but I hope she knows how far she's come and how much we all love her ❤️

I was wannabe emo when I was 13 to 15 and so eyeliner was important part for me. From my little friend group I was the eyeliner expert and just some days ago I found out that my friend still uses an eyeliner brand that I recommended for her back then!

I was, well, I was going down on my girlfriend and while doing this my mom barged in my room and saw us very clearly.

New Update:
My girlfriend and I decided to move together and we found a perfect flat, not too big and very cheap.
I showed it to my mom when we were deciding if we should buy it. It only has one bedroom and one living room.
My mom immediatly asked in which room I would sleep and what we would do when one of us had male guests...
She now understands that we would sleep in one room together but she is convinced we do it to save some money and not because we are in a relationship even though we told her already a million times...
I am going crazy?! How can someone not understand or deny it so long?

nope..my dad wouldnt let my sisters and I wear makeup because he said that people that wear makeup when they are young tend to look older and well we did start wearing makeup once we could buy it ourselves but that was like in college lol ...usually people think that I'm younger at work all off the high school kids think I'm in highs school and I'm 24 so maybe istrue dk but in my hs only the preppy girls used makeup sob out was only about 10 out of a 100ish

Sometimes I dont even bother with foundation at all, & I just apply a little blush, highlighter, concealer, a little bit of bronzer to contour, mascara & lip tint/gloss. I fill in my brows too, and I use a light dewy setting spray. I've always got moisturizer on. If I'm feeling fancy I use neutral browns, taupes or cool mauves & create a half cut crease or just use the shadows to create a little depth. Sometimes I simply use what I used as bronzer/contour as a shadow to create that depth & some shade continuity. But I like to let my skin breathe. I really only wear foundation like once a week.

Just eyeliner, and not all the time. Sometimes eyeliner AND mascara which was like a "whoa I'm getting dressed up now"

When I started wearing makeup (in middle school), I used a foundation that was 1-2 shades darker than my skin tone. I didn't start using a shade that matched my skin until either sophomore or junior year. Can't remember which it was.
I also fell into the trap of thinking what looks good on someone else would look good on me. And I mostly wore bright eyeshadow colors.

yeah highschool is from age 11/12 until 16/17/18 (which depends on what "level" of highschool you're doing. If you're doing the highest "level", you'll be in highschool until age 18. The lowest level (no offense or anything) is until age 16. For example, i'll be turning 17 this schoolyear, meaning that some of my friends already finished highschool

My high school make-up routine consisted of 3 different foundations. A bb creme, a liquid foundation that was 3 shades too dark, and I thought to make it better...I would put a light shaded liquid foundation. Then thick black eyeliner under my eyes. No blush, no lipstick. I looked like a one dimensional oompa loompa
