I feel like this has interesting potential when it comes to presentation. The fight could be framed as a doomsday prophecy that begins when Ra and the gods guarding him find that Apophis isn’t waiting for them in the underworld as he usually does, a terrible omen. And during the fight you could make good use of civilians’ perspective to get across the sheer destruction of their battle and make it feel like apocalyptic event of biblical scale. And you don’t have to just stick to the human world. The fight can go to the most iconic realms in Norse & Egyptian mythology and feature cameos by characters from either. The potential for something great is there, even if both character’s movesets aren’t highly fleshed out.
I would have to say Apophis FTW. From what I heard, he can't die and it seems as if Jormungandr was made to lose to Thor. Plus Apophis could possibly eat the sun. Love this Matchup tho and awesome trailer!

You should study Egyptian mythology. Ra and, as a consequence, Apophis are easy to scale at the external level. Jormungandr - low/medium Multiverse.
