Wow, surprised to see this one being featured. It already was one of my low-key favorites in the original soundtrack, even with the usual production issues in Singa's work. Turns out Jindo arranging Singa tracks works out pretty well!
Singa's quality has overall improved since Ys IX imo (Kuro 2 just makes all of his battle tracks in Kuro 1 except Rise of the Grendel look awful) but it totally does, because Singa is only a good *composer*. The only one I don't like that much is Crossing A/A on the Super Ultimate. It doesn't have the same sort of oomph that I really enjoyed especially in game being in the middle of a volcano mountain lmao. But then again, Super Ultimate is purely for listening. And in that respect, its a BANGER.
This definitely sounds like an Ys rock track now, the instrumentation is a huge step up. 2:09 with the violin and guitar duet was pretty cool, and 3:04 to 3:14 is great too!
This is better, but I miss the staccato violin. But that was the most distinct part of the original, so I guess it's good to create a different identity for this arrangement.
This is probably my favorite arrangement in the set. Not for any specific reason. I just legit could not remember the original song for the most part so this sounds brand spanking new anyways.
@@JacobPDeIiNoNi Jindo actually has his own mixing engineer as well. Singa works for cheap it seems so he doesn't really have much for help except ADD plays his sax incredibly well. Marionnette, Marionnette is chef's kiss.
The instruments sound better here, but it's also sorely missing the heavy emphasis on the chugging background rhythm that made the original version feel more intense and exciting. Still a good arrangement though.
easily the biggest glow-up of the album. song actually sounds like ys when it's not filled with the annoying bleeding violin and heavier7strings' keyswitch vibrato. jindo... 🧎♂️🧎♂️🧎♂️🧎♂️🧎♂️
Only Jindo can make a Singa track actually sound graceful and beautiful. And it actually sounds like a Falcom track now. I wish we had an OST DLC to replace the tracks in-game for the PS4 version. One of these moments I regret being a console player only.
@@Choops6969 You're over-satirizing the music fans of Falcom. Most of them (including me) actually praised Singa for his ys9 tracks. (Ignore DesMondesBlut he's a special one who might actually fit your satire comment)
This arrangement is so good is almost unbelievable...

Better than the original in every possible way
This arrangement is incredible, love the part at 2:21

Holy fuck that part at 2:08

same, I almost cannot recognise what the original song sounds like
WOAH the violin!! This is so good!
Better in every single way lmao, Jindo i kneel.
A superb arrangement, the usual Ys rocking touch for this one and it works very well.
I Can't believe this is same with original. Original was fine, but this is incredible!
Love to listen Singa vibes arranged by Jindo
10/10 holy shit this is such a big glow-up
Jindo out there proving that alchemy exists by turning shit into gold
The song was amazing already. Singa has more than proven himself as a composer on ys viii and ix. He wrote my favorite songs on both games.
@@sleepedge8257 As a songwriter Singa is decent, but you have to be insane to think that man can arrange or mix songs well.
@@wolfnews1788 he can. Icludian dance exists. It just happens very, very rarely

Outstanding track, the instrumentation is amazing. Quite liked the original composition, this arrangement is a blessing.
Why couldn't we have had this in the game? Same for Norse Wind.
心震える良いBGMですね。

Imo the orginal is better.
This arrangement is better, but the instruments in the original sound better.

I think this was the wrong way to go for this song it just doesn’t sound right.
