My two favorites by Linkin Park are Given Up and Waiting For the End. Given Up is one of their heaviest songs, it has a 17 seconds scream and a really sick riff. Then Waiting For the End is super mesmorizing and chill and the lyrics are phenomenal and the instrumental touches the soul and the music video is incredible. I highly suggest checking out those two songs.
Papercut is the best thing Linkin Park's done. Also listen to.... -Lying From You -Nobody's Listening -Step Up -It's Goin' Down (with the X-Ecutioners) -Points of Authority -Don't Stay -Somewhere I Belong -Forgotten -A Place For My Head -Hit The Floor
Castle of Glass by Linkin Park. It’s a different style than the stuff you’ve been listening to, but it’s still amazing. Also, I really love the video for it.
You should check out Its Goin Down by The X-ecutioners. Was written and performed by Mike from Linkin Park. If you want a more hip hop side of LP try I Have Not Begun, When They Come For Me, Wretches and Kings.
Your reaction gave me goosebumps. You can't imagine how these kind of reactions bring tears to my eyes... Cause I loved the this band so much for almost 18 years and now that my hero's no longer with us, well...so glad people appreciate him and lp. Thanks a lot.
They have no bad songs/albums tbh. (Personally didn't like The Hunting Party) Since you like hiphop you should check out the reanimation album remixes of Hybrid Thoery too. Mike Shinoda is a great rapper, Fort Minor is an amazing group. Chester has one of the greatest vocal ranges and voices of the generation RIP to him.
Chester was a one of a kind vocalist. I recommend you Given Up and Hardly Breathe (LP underground). Those two songs truly show Chester’s vocal spectrum. It’ll have you shook! 🤟🏼
Too sad that you are into it when Chester is gone. Dude had pipes. And with Mikes rhymes...but this mix is what Hybrid Theory was all about as far as I got it. I never liked hip hop or rap much at all but their putting it all together was fab. Listened to them for a long time. Really miss Chester. Glad you like them tho!😀I'm just visiting. Kinda stumbled on your channel and Linkin Park clinched it. TY
Man I gotta say I just love your reactions, Linkin Park is my most favorite and close to the heart band since I am a kid, and it makes happy to watch your reaction for some of their best songs! Keep up mate your reactions are the best!
Iamsickflowz I'm glad someone who listenes to more hip hop then nu metal I'm glad that your branching out and good choice going for LP one of my favourite bands ever
You just got another subsciber. I appreciate that you actually listen to the songs and react for real. Not just sitting there watching and going "uh" and "whooo" every third second. Keep it up
Papercut was the 3rd linkin park song I heard in 2001. 17 years on it remains my favourite track, not only by them ... but ever. Nice to see it get the 2018 reactions treatment it deserves. This song became a Pandoras box to the rock world ... one I'm still exploring 17 years on ... Enjoy the rest of their discography. .. it covers over 15 years!
Love your reactions! It makes me feel so happy and hyped up that someone enjoys my favorite band especially when they're into other genres hehehe Chester loves you. You're awesome man!! XD
are you just experiencing linkin songs for the first time? you are lucky. Try listening to their mash-up songs with JayZ like 'Numb/Encore', 'Dirt of your shoulder/lying from you', 'jiggy what/faint'
I see the split in the wall (In the frame you paused on) as the "Skin". The room they are inside being their own conscious while the dark creature on the other side of the wall is the "face". And now the more I'm thinking about it all the chaos in the room and their faces deforming is when the lines start to blurr and we start being unable to distinguish which voice is our own , or what are subconscious thoughts leaking through a "papercut". Never looked at it this way till I watched this reaction, not sure if there are any theory's or confirmation about what the imagery is about
I would love to see you react to Dead By Sunrise - Let Down. Dead by Sunrise is a mini band made by chester bennington so he could make competely rock songs and not need to worry about incorporating his co-singers hip hop into it
Should do some 90’s Nu Metal 1.Downset-Anger 2.Papa Roach-Last Resort 3.Korn-Falling Away From Me 4.Hed P.E.-Serpent Boy 5.Shootyz Groove-L Train 6.Adema-The Way You Like It
Linkin Park- One more light, heavy, a place for my head, crawling, runaway, and one step closer. PLEASE. Great video bro keep it up. RIP CHESTER BENNINGTON Gone but never forgotten.
Dude telling you, "Waiting For The End" has Mike Shinoda being the main vocal. He spends most of the song doing his rapping. You wouldn't regret doing this song guaranteed!
Very professional for a reaction channel. Not saying there is anything bad about reaction channels, but I don't usually enjoy watching them. You just got another subscriber.
I think it's funny how linkin park is everyone's gate way to rock because it was mine as well and watching him react to this excites me because it reminds me of when I was discovering these songs for the first time and how I would listen to the songs on repeat learning the lyrics and all the little sounds that make linkin park so unique
Used to always listen to Hybrid Theory on the bus on the way to high school back in early 2000s...damn I'm old... The song (and video) I've always interpreted as not only about paranoia, but also about a person's interactions within a society and it's expectations. A lot of us go through life presenting a certain mask to the world; we can't be how we want for fear of unacceptance, propriety, or we just don't truly know ourselves, just what our environment wants us to be. And sometimes, that suppression...that unknown...turns toxic. The room the band is performing in symbolizes the mask. It looks neat. Proper. Clean. But just beyond the walls is the real version. Bricked up. Suppressed. Left to rot. And sooner or later, it begins to seep. Trying to find a crack. Trying to find a way out into the world. Eventually, if not confronted, that rot will be right behind the wallpaper....right underneath the skin...and all it'd take to expose it to the world is...one...single...papercut.
I think its hard for people without mental health issues to get the real meaning behind LP's stuff. They're sick tunes in their own right, but to us broken people they were (and still are) everything. Hybrid Theory showed me I wasn't alone in the days before mass internet.
So many songs, but this is the top 3 you have to do: Numb In The End What I've Done Those three are almost universally agreed to be the three best songs they've ever done.
Dude check out Linkin Park - From The Inside, Breaking The Habit, Somewhere I Belong and Faint. I've been down with LP since the start and all their songs are incredible. Am glad you're enjoying their songs and becoming a fan. RIP Chester

I'd give anything to go back to 2001 and hear this song for the first time all over again...
One more light - Linkin Park
Video number 3 in the series! Can't seem to find your actual second reaction to then though, you remember what song it was?
How have you never heard any of their songs? Blows my mind! Glad to see that you are enjoying them though

The reanimation one is really good, you'll love it.
The real question is.. why are you just now listening to this song??
What is wrong? i listen to Linkin Park for like 7 - 8 years now
Big LP fan here, randomly finding this fun video of my favourite song ever. :) Have you listened to LP - Hands Held High? It's mostly rap.
That portrait of the kid your referring to is a reference to their old album or tape they made in the 90s called Xero.
Have you done any Def Tones yet? My own summer, digital bath, change in the house of flies. Pro tip: They’re dope
Those painting in the room were painted by Mike the day before they shoot the video.
I fail to believe someone is only just now listening to Linkin Park, no matter what music you're into, unless you're a pensioner.
Mike is a friggin' legend
For other bands, try...
-POD
-System Of A Down

Chester Bennington will always be immortal in our hearts.

Faint
Breaking the Habit
Lying From You
A Place For My Head
By Myself
Since you mentioned about getting into other bands, 'My Ticket Home' - Flypaper; I think you might like enjoy it, also 'Given up' by Linkin Park (I definitely recommend it).
