I say, take a kitten but with one condition, it means you get a fresh batch of chicks come Spring ;) I love keeping chickens (and quail) and I see how much you love the animals at your parents. You need a lovely little chicken house, planted with a knot garden out front of their run!

I LOVE Angelonia! It's such a showstopper and looks so striking. I lived in the panhandle of Florida before moving to TN a few years ago and my Angelonia acted as a perennial, it was great! It came back with more and more vigor each year.

Laura you just came to the rescue! We are still putting an area in our backyard together it was our daughters birthday and she asked for plants! So we needed something just like this perfect for that area we have so many bees and butterflies I think it’s perfect! Also it’s gotten up to 90s here and I’m trying not to stress plants out after planting so it works out. Thanks my daughter is so happy hope we can find them at our nursery. Oh and yes get the kitties!!!!💚💚💚💚💚💚

Love the angelonia. I was meaning to put some in our window planter but opted for the purple salvia. We wanted the illustrus elephant ears and fountain grass to be the show stopper. We will definitely be using these if we can find them at our nursery. 💚💚💚💚💚💚

I would not be able to resist one of those kittens. I am a sucker for them. When I lived in Toronto I had the odd stray that suckered me into giving them a home and one had kittens. I really like the Angelonia's habits and I may look at getting one for my small garden since you said it blooms till Fall. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have learned quite a lot from you. I love Angelonias! They are hardy and do well even in the desert as long as they have consistent water, like you said. They don’t get as large as the beauties you have shown here though. I enjoy your videos for the wonderful gardening advice but also because you are such a sweet young lady with such a nice loving family! GOD bless you and yours! 🌸
