As I got older (I’m 50) I found I never looked back once at my yearbooks and held little sentimental value. Tear out any pages that mean something to you and keep those.
Hi Mariela - On the yearbooks, I lost track of mine and eventually discovered that my mother let our small town library scan them for their archives. They are all available on their website, which is cool...but personal messages and comments are there forever, lol! I think my senior yearbook is in my memory box that's now at my sister's house - lol, joke's on her. Anyway, maybe look thru them and enjoy the memories and take pictures of the pages you like the most. Otherwise, if they are just in a box under the bed, they just take up space. Anyway, I always love being inspired by you. I'll be tackling my over-stuffed entry closet as soon as it's winter time in New York. Great job, as always!
Hey Maria, great storage solutions. Love the nightstand that you found from your buy nothing group but a great piece to add to your bedroom. I definitely have some few things to go through and declutter. One of them is my husband‘s wardrobe. He has way too many clothes lol I keep telling him to clutter because the pole where the clothes hang in the closet is bending and it looks like it’s about to break 🫢
I trashed my yearbooks a few years ago. They brought back bad memories anyway so why was I keeping them? I never looked in them anyway and I don’t regret it. Less stuff to lug around whenever I move too.
Nice score on the night stand, it works well in that area. I like night stands with a drawer. Just curious - kind of sounds like you don't have AC? Surprised if you don't being in a very hot area of the country. Since I'm in Florida, very hot and humid, AC is a necessity. I have my high school year books, haven't looked at them in many years, graduated in 1969. Seems were supposed to keep them.. I have my high school ring and haven't worn that since the 70's. The new under bed storage bins fit perfectly and look very neat & tidy. The ones you emptied, might work in other areas you're going to organize.
thanks! we have AC in the living room so it only covers that area. in the bedroom we have to have our own AC unit to cool it down. oh that's cool you still have the books and ring. I found a use of one of the bins had to donate the other!
I don't keep in touch with anyone from high school (except my brother lol) so yearbooks weren't that meaningful to me. Like you, I never looked through them (except when I was decluttering) so I cut some pages out of them and got rid of the books. I might eventually get rid of those pages when I do another round of decluttering if I don't feel like keeping them anymore.
Doesn't fail, watching how the puddles of sweat just dried up within 48 hours was so satisfying, I used what I read about the other day. Although it actually took about 72 hours for my sweating to normalize, I went ahead and go'ogled Cynthia Yulesin’s Stop Sweating Today and I don’t have to change clothes 2 times a day.
Your year books have a super awesome look to them. KEEP your yearbook! It was a tradition to have our friends write in our year book each year. Did you do that too? Year books are keepsakes for yourself and future generations. They will become more important later in life. 😊
There is nothing wrong with having nice things , having too much stuff will eventually turn into clutter . Save your money for an emergency rainy day .

i like the idea of tearing out pages.. thanks!
I can’t be without a vac either. It’s very necessary in my life. I have a shop vac, and I have a small black and decker 3 in one. Love it.
agreed! thanks for sharing

That looks great! Have you ever considered getting a bed skirt to hide the stuff under the bed?
thanks and no that's a great idea! why hadn't i thought that before 😅

thanks! i thought about that on our move, they're so heavy i don't want to carry them around!
I did the same. Every time I looked at them made me sad. I don’t miss them.
