Spent my 20s - in the 80s I was living at the Chelsea Hotel- 5th floor- 23rd street side. Stanley only charged me $50 for the week. I kept a journal that has been duck taped closed for for all these years, Have never opened it. So happy when stories of the Chelsea are shared. PLACE is totally haunted!! Had some really scary interesting experiences there.

Bet Stanley would be pretty bummed by the renovation and overpriced rooms only available for part time stay. Such ashame
