This video was exactly the help I needed. Thank you for making this. Spent over an hour trying to figure out why the brew wouldn't go back in. I knew how to set the brew unit to neutral, but it was the machine itself that needed to turned on to reset all the positions.
OMGOODNESS!!! I worked on the machine over 2 hours until I finally looked this problem up. I had the whole unit unplugged while trying to get the brew unit back in. Thank-you so much for this video. Ready for some coffee, finally!

This video, and the one showing how to get it in neutral and locked, was the trick, especially the part where I had to lock the brew unit. Thank you!!!
I followed all these instructions, but when I switch it on I dont hear the buzzing sound, so the machine doesnt reset and the spindle does not go into neutral, what to do then?

Hello, great video, but what do I do if the brew unit still doesn't want to go in? It's in neutral position, I hear the adjustment going (I see the screw move; I overwrote the door sensor so I can see). The unit still doesn't go in. 🤷♀️ Thank you, any help would be appreciated.
Have the 8856/03 unit. Have reset brew unit and cycled the motor but it never resets back to its "home" position to allow me to insert the brew unit again. Replaced the limit switch on brew unit drive because it was a bit green and corroded but still doesn't work. Any ideas? 😢

Thanks. That helped me put the grew group back in after taking it out while the machine was on.
